Did a brake inspection. The dealer I bought it from did a resurface on the rotors (which I never do anymore), and the fronts are warped. The parking brake doesn't hold well, and I see the shoe is cracked.

Going to be ordering new rotors, pads, and shoes. Also going to do a flush. I was considering Power Stop Z36, but I may get OEM rotors and Akebono pads instead. Not sure about drilled rotors. Feel free to sway my mind.

Lol @ all yall. Yeah the trailer is not cheap, but a Raptor towing a wake boat or any mid tier +25' deck boat would set you back more than probably his entire setup.

It's sweet and I'm not knocking it at all. But its nothing "extravagant" IMO. Just b@d @ss.

Also eyeing up a good deal on some LT275/65R20 Duratrac's. But this would put me a thick 1/2" closer to things than the 275/60R20s the largest tire thread says is the max on stock suspension. I'll have to look into that some more, but I'd like to make that work.

Until that raptor breaks down. They sure do look good in our review mirrors though. On and off road. Lol

+100. Which makes your old man smart AND b@d @ss.

    Edit-

I will say that my wife's new 392 Wrangler definitely is giving my run of the mil Sr5 Tundra a slight complex.

Yeah, ideally I'd go for those. Just not in the budget right now. Maybe next time.

Rofl, it literally shakes the house upon startup. She used to think that kinda stuff was lame. That is until she got behind the wheel. Giggled like a school girl the whole drive home.

I'm running OEM rotors and have Z36 pads on my Tundra and our Sequoia (also on stock rotors). No issues.

Not really. OEM vs Z36 are both good options for DD.

Naw. That engine and drivetrain are proven. Tundra will get a SC eventually though.

I have had 275/65R20 ko2’s on my tundra since day 1. Never rubbed yet, my 2020 doesn’t have the little wings on the skid plate however. Toyota dropped that style in 2020 I believe, but a cut off wheel would make quick work

Had a charger with the 392 for many years. One of the most fun vehicles I’ve ever owned. My daughter and I both regret me selling it.

Did you post that in marketplace?? I don't remember seeing it come up. What are you asking for it, and what pulleys, belts and accessories are included. If that's all in a post somewhere, please feel free to just slap my dumb ass and point me to a link

I haven’t posted it yet as it’s still on the rig but will once I order the whipple. I may have a buyer lined up but again will post if that falls through. It would include

    TRD supercharger
Magnuson injectors and brand new 650 cc injectors
Brand new 340 lph fuel pump
Brand new belts I have a couple as spares
    Figs aluminum resi tank
Bosch intercooler pump and larger zz performance pump
    Front heat exchanger
    All lines etc

only thing it wouldn’t include is the magnuson airbox I’ll use that until I knock out my custom box. That can be ordered easily. Gold wrapping not included lol
