Hey all...appreciate the feedback on my previous post about ditch lights/brackets. After a bunch of research I am thinking of going with SDHQ brackets and BD Squadron Pros ('22-Current Toyota Tundra SDHQ Built A-Pillar Light Mounts (sdhqoffroad.com) ). Realize they are very pricey as brackets but I like how they tie into a different location than most hood specific brackets.

In the spirit of keeping things OEM I really do not want to drill into the dash or create a switch panel...therein I am looking for the right aftermarket OEM style switch to place in the TRD light bar location of the switch panel. Which manufacturers would work in that spot? Cali-Raised or AOB...others?

I am still struggling with whether I even need ditch lights and have only been thinking of adding them because I live in a relatively rural area and some turns have severe drop-offs that my normal lighting doesn't cover on a turn. Enough on that.

    Thanks in advance.

Yes, I have a question emailed to them whether they make a horizontal switch for the Toyota switch plate. The cube switch is what I already have for my light bar (from CaliRaised). Just wanted to replace the blank panel on the picture with a more OEM looking switch for ditch lights.

I am looking for the same thing. Did you ever get a response? I would love to find a switch for that space that is actually two switches or even a 3 position switch, or worse case just a single switch.

I'll save you some trouble, I have that switch, it is NOT a straight swap out!! The switch is smaller than the opening. You have to dremel and cut out the rectangular switch blank to make it fit. Even then there's nothing there to hold the switch in place. I ended up having to hot glue mine in place. If you have a cube space open, use that instead. Air on board https://www.aironboard.com/online/products/switches/toyota-push-switches.html?p=2&toyota_model=454 has the closest backlighting to the OEM switches and are a perfect fit.

It's not a perfect fit and requires a significant amount of modification to get it in place.

Regardless it looks like the closest OEM switch available right now. I actually used the BD illuminated round switch and step drilled a hole in the blank horizontal switch cover to install....this switch should be a relatively easy replacement to Fordum/Dremel'ing out the remainder of the switch blank.

Thanks for that info. I have 2 open spaces in that area. A traditional cube slot and the double-wide (or whatever they call it). I have plans for ditch lights and a light bar up front but want them on two different switches. Seems finding cube switches is the easy situation. I thought about buying an OEM switch directly from Toyota for the double-wide but they want a god awful amount for them. I might call to the wrecking yards next.

The OEM TRD switch is not expensive- part # PT45A-34220-AA usually $30-$50, even at the dealer. Problem is they are on national backorder with no ETA. Probably won't have luck with wrecking yards, not enough 3rd gen has likely made it in significant numbers so parts are going to be expensive there too and most wrecking yards are not selling "small parts".

Again thanks. I did a search for that part and saw a $150 price tag. I will try that part number instead.

The additional problem is the switch doesn't come with the wiring harness, just the switch. If relevant, evidently it is pinned out for CAMBUS, for me that is a slight issue since I have a SR5.

There is another thread here with a walkthrough on how to install the OEM switch. Hardest part is souring a male connecter pinned harness to plug into it

Can anyone comment on backlight match to OEM with this one? They seem to have the most options and a customization option too. I have caliraised and the backlight is way off and stands out like a sore thumb.

Also worth noting: OEM buttons have a yellow or orange indicator light when presssed. Caliraised is bright blue there too. Are these guys yellow or orange?

Has anyone found the wire to t-tap into for back light that will dim with all the other buttons?
