I got this online on a site call autohance $80 cheaper than everyone else. They also have a discount code make sure you enter it at check out ....with tax around $700......other sites before tax around $700+

From my 1 day experience with this system is its moans and drone like a bad muffler porn star....just moan n drone little way to much and way to loud. And i have loud noise tolerance. Its just a turn off:)

It comes in a big box. The black paint on the tips was slightly chipped and the muffler is slightly dented on one side. I fix it with small touch up and had the dented side face up no biggie.

The system does not comes with gaskets. If you have a lazy mechanic like my last one he will bitch about not having gasket and will also bitch about maybe they need to drill the old rusty bolts out. If thats the case find a new mechanic:) those gaskets are very common any muffler shop will have them in stock.

Install about 1hr for my mechanic with lift. Comes with good instruction. Everything fits. The only problem is no matter how we tried to push the tip hanger in it only goes in about 3/4 the way into the rubber bushing. You see it in the photo. My mechanic said it should be ok. I added zip tie to it just so it wont slip out when am driving.

1st impression is that it looks good. Its not too loud when i 1st got out of the shop. You might think its stock.....local driving under 40mph all good .......but then........i had to drove it home on highway for 30+ mins.......

Driving impression. If you dont like loud droney exhaust maybe this is not for you. What ever these online youtuber reviewer says they must be deaf.
    1. Any rpm going up hill its droney and loud. Whats surprising to me is..... With window open or close they sound just as loud....no difference at all
    2. Around town under 50mph its acceptable just right. But once pass 50mph any amount of gas will be droney and loud. It doesnt sound too bad on the outside but all the vibration and droney noise seems to just go directly into the cabin.
    3. On the highway any gas over 70mph it get very droney and loud. The droney nose would fill the whole cabin. If you have a family especially with baby sit and drive alot on highway... this is not for you.

Power wise. I dont feel much difference. Maybe need a ecu flash.... Low end the tranny seems to be more active and responsive. But higher end tq seems to be less on the highway... one thing i notice is the tranny will shift to lower gear faster when braking or going down hills.

I will have this thing on for a while and see how much longer i can tolerate this system. One tip i would say if guys like side exhaust look and dont like the drone noise have the muffler shop just make one coming out the side like this one but keep the stock muffler.

Flowmaster exhausts are not the best for these trucks. Loss of low-end torque is not my idea of fun.

Bummer about the drone. What speed/RPM do you notice it at? Or is it just everywhere above 50 mph? My super50 is pretty mellow but drones between 1500 and 1700 rpm. The flowFX appears to be a straight through design. Prolly doesn’t help that it dumps right behind the cab.

Looks great and thanks for sharing your experience. Seems to be the common complaint with aftermarket exhaust systems.

Has anyone install those nodrone resonator? Or using those universal magnaflow or borla? I am thinking able hacking into my flowmaster with those no drone j pipes or just replace the flowmaster fx muffler if the other fits. Thx

All of this has already been figured out through science and trial and error by @dirtydeeds

I would personally recommend either them or TRD duals. (One loses hp/trq)

I have the super 50 and no drone that i hear but I always have radio on. I also did not notice any loss of low end power.

I have an update. Now I have a BorlaMaster or a FlowBorla system. 1 of 1..lol....

After a week with the DROoNonoNEmaster i decided to switch it out for a borla and see how it sounds and feel as you can see in the photo. There is a Borla ProXs muffler on Amazon that a direct fit with the Flowmaster FX side piping exhaust system. Well! The borla muffler has less drone. Enough drone still that it would be OK if i dont use it as a family car. However it still have drone just not as much. I would say 50% less than the flowMfx The sound is not as "cool" as the flowmaster FX but still pretty loud. Less crisp but still loud. One thing i notice is the flowmaster have less power down low and alot smoother when going high speed. While the borla feel like it give more low end torque but not as smooth driving high speed. I pdecided what the hell lets blow the $700 plus these cheap muffler. I ask the muffler guys to cut into the expensive stainless steel pipe and install those no drone side resonator pipe that everyone talks about online........well! .....it does remove SOMEdrones but not as much as i wanted it. At some RPM the drone is mostly gone but some RPM and speed the drone became louder with the borla......anyway would i do it again. Maybe....but diff not a side exhaust. The muffler guys said no matter what i do i have a side exhaust. If its all the way to the back maybe even less drone...lol

Umm, Is it just me or is the left drone resonator open and not capped like the one on the right?

The resonators are simple devices based on helmholtz resonators. The same principle applies to ported subwoofer boxes but as reinforcement.

I want to update with the drone. For some reason maybe after break in. The drone is acceptable or mostly gone. Only hear it at 2000rpm going around 50ish mph. Other area no more drone. I plan on adding more resonators
