No kidding. Went to grab dinner last night at what I thought was 5 p.m., as it was plenty sunny outside.

    Wrong. It was 7:30. WTF....

I don’t care which way they go, just pick one and stop this. Time change always makes me feel like crap for a week.

    Too many, but not enough....
I normally dont care since I get up for work when its dark no matter what they do. Its just dumb because I have little kids that usually sleep around 6pm, so it takes them a while to get used to the fact that it stays light until like 7pm. They always end up sleeping a little later so it messes with their whole day and that means it messes with my wife all day too haha.

The older I get the worse the change makes me feel. I vote to leave it at standard time as I hit the rack around 7:30pm any way, so no benefit to me for longer evenings. That being said I would be cool with it either way !!!

Couple rig updates for the old man’s tundra. I really should start a build thread for his truck since he doesn’t internet well.

This phase included swapping the magnuson blower to the 2.9 whipple, seibon carbon hood, removed decked drawer and GFC V1. They’re currently picking up the new offroad trailer since upgrading from the turtle back.

Next on the list is smaller pulley, bigger injectors and redoing the long travel suspension from the current kit to the LSK race kit up front and spring under custom bedcage rear with custom tow shocks. Order placed for the new GFC topper but no eta on that yet from gfc.

That damn body line from the hood to fender up by the cowl kills me on ever single one of the 2.5g.

It doesn’t help that we have after market fiberglass fenders that inherently don’t fit great.

The first thing I touch when I climb into my tundra is, of course, the steering wheel. And to be frank, I kinda hated the original wheel. It felt too big, and the hard plastic wasn't something I really enjoyed grabbing onto for hours at a time for long trips.
And if I'll be plowing with this beast, shouldn't it have a heated steering wheel?

So, after a few false starts and experiments, I installed this used Highlander heated leather wrapped wheel.

Check out that awesome button layout! Very easy access to the volume control.

Still have to do a full writeup, and hook up the final 4 wires under the dash.
The experiments are over here Spit-ballin' a heated steering wheel in a Tundra

They’re hooked up and heading out. Their plan is to head to camp for a few nights while they head back to phx.
