The first year, that’s all my older one wanted was radios from the kids raffle, he got first ticket pulled for some adventure kit, hahahaha he was heart broken. The powers that be, his brothers ticket got pulled for a 4 pack of radios, it took some convincing and “it’ll be ok, we can share” and he was back on track!

We are planning to get in Sunday and stay in Flagstaff for a new nights. We've never seen the Grand Canyon so we're going to check that out. If anyone has any suggestions on which part of GCNP to visit let me know. Otherwise I'm going to take highway 89 then west on 64.

How do yall feel about having name tags with our forum name and first name? I think it would be helpful for those of us who are bad with names when meeting new people. Hell I can forgot someone's face or name that I've known for months or even years sometimes, if we aren't in contact often enough. My brain's facial recognition software and name database both malfunction more often than I'd like to admit.

I thought everyone on the forum had license plates or bumper stickers with their forum nickname on it. Is that not the case?

 

I mean I have my IG handle on my rig and a vanity plate. But for example, I know what Rusty's truck looks like but I don't know what Rusty looks like.

 

Just make Rusty sit in the truck. Good boy, Rusty. Now we know who Rusty is.

 

So do I. From henceforth, I'll only respond to "GAPER" or "GOATSE". Problem solved.

 

That's just one example thought. Anyways, I might make myself a name tag.
