A friend of mine just got a new 3rd gen TDR off road tundra and had the factory lift kit installed. So, the orginal TRD suspension is sitting in his garage looking for a new home. Does anyone know if the 3rd TRD off road suspension would fit on a 2WD 2nd gen Tundra?

Ever find out if the 3rd gen suspension will fit a 2nd gen? Shocks at least.

Digging this one up because I have all the brand new TRD offroad suspension parts for sale and I keep getting hit up up 2nd Gen Tundra owners and even Tacoma guys to see if the coils and front/rear shocks will fit. Can anyone confirm or give insight? I can't seem to find any real world input from the world wide web.

I don't recall specifics or where I was able to find the info, but the motion ratio is different between the two trucks so the front coilers are a no go. I don't believe they are the same length either. The rear shocks are also of a different length and possibly different ends as well.

    Bottom line is - no.

There are enough of 3rd gen non TRD owners that will take the stuff off your hands for a decent price
