@Classy63 - Tyler, I seriously doubt that this will rescue this thread for you, but I installed my plates today. I was probably more patient than anyone who complained because I changed my order to the V3 plates and waited until you (finally) got to them. These plates are very nice and I am glad I waited. I hope you can get your business up and running with these!

 

I couldn’t wait to send these out to you, I actually hugged one of the plates when it showed up from powder coat

I wanted to say thanks for the order I received 1/4 Bare Aluminum for my 21 Tundra. I did receive it just before your order site went down and sat on them till I got a chance to install, which was around the holidays. Couldn’t be happier!!
My wife is more nervous than I about driving my truck around unprotected thus the fear of theft never far from my mind. So happy I got them installed and appreciate the quality! The anxiety of the wait got to me a couple times. But no regrets. Resting much easier now. Hope you got your grove on.

Why fight it? Have your CC cancel the transaction and buy some different ones.

 

Didn't use a CC. It was a debit card. Same as cash. Maybe he should just follow through and deliver the product. I mean why offer if you can't deliver?

 

At this point, far more people are getting their money back through CC disputes than are getting the plates they paid for. Can you dispute through the bank that issued your debit card?

I stopped using debit cards a long time ago for internet transactions because of better fraud protection on my Visa.

Now that's not to reassuring. He appears to still be taking orders from his web site. If there are to many people filing disputes he will end up not being able to except mastercard/visa anymore.

 

Never said you did. That was directed toward him not you. I'm just pissed off. Especially since he won't even respond to the countless E-mails I have sent him.

I should probably get a credit card but I haven't bought anything on credit since 2003. So my credit is completely nonexistent. My bank has enough money of mine that they should issue me one.

 

The consumer protection alone is worth it. I was trying to get warranty help on an expensive pair of hiking boots. After several weeks of no response I called my CC company and they canceled payment immediately.

No good reason to NOT use one for online shopping IMO.
