Valhalla Shield

Ordered on April 1, just coincidence, and received end of May IIRC.

 

I have a set of every plate he makes, and it did take about 4 months to get one of them, but it was well worth the wait. The plates have been great. They look and fit great. My cats haven't been stolen, oil changes are easier, and they offer some good off-road protection, too.

 

Has anyone heard from Tyler lately? I placed an order for the rear plate add-on on October 9th. I've reached out twice by PM here and by email in the past 3 weeks and have had no response. I know he is busy but it seems even PM-ing here isn't getting a response and that seemed to be the recommended method for reaching him.

I'm quite happy with the two main plates I got in the first part of 2022 (after my cats were stolen) but would like to get the add-on installed as soon as possible since I can't garage my truck.

 

He has mentioned in the past that facebook messenger is the best way to contact him.

Does anyone have installation instructions for adding on the rear vertical plate (2WD trucks) - alignment etc? I thought I had seen someone's write-up a few months back but can't find it. I just dropped my rear plate and ready to add the new vertical plate. No installation instructions on Tyler's site for the add-on. 1LowLife I've seen pics of yours after you installed it.

Update: Its actually pretty easy. Just line up the front edge of the add-on vertical plate with the back edge of the Valhalla Shield logo and center it left-right. You will either need to center punch each of the 8 holes while using the vertical plate as a template then remove it and drill, or clamp the vertical plate in-place and drill through those holes and down through the rear plate. Deburr the drill holes and bolt both plates together and install the assembly on the undercarriage.

 

Avoid this guy like the plague. I see there are plenty of fan boys here claiming how he is a nice guy and all. I can care less how nice he is. I've been waiting 5 months for my plates and nothing. I can't even get him to answer a damn E-mail. It appears that this is his MO. When I ordered back in November of last year the web site said to expect 4 weeks for delivery. It's been 5 months. It appears he is still taking orders even though he can't deliver on the ones he's got. The reason I ordered from him is because he was the only one offering plates for the Pro Comp lift kit. I'm starting to think the only way to get the product I purchased is to get an attorney.

 

If you don't use facebook it ain't. The best way to get ahold of him should be through his official E-mail address that is listed on his web site. A phone number would be nice but he doesn't list one.

 

It doesn't read 4 weeks to delivery, it reads it can exceed 4 weeks.
5 months certainly exceeds 4 weeks..



Some guys have been contacting their payment methods and successfully having the charges reversed.
Have you tried that?
