Got a lot done but this is all I remembered to take a pic of...
    Sdhq battery terminals
    Coachbuilder oe outer tie rods
    Coachbuilder +1 shackles
    Sdhq extended brake lines
    Sdhq icon shock guards
Import direct pads and rotors on all 4
    Coolant flush
    Brake flush
    transmission flush
both diffs and transfer case flush
    oe spark plugs

Truck just hit 112000 so it was all needed especially since I've been driving it for work more and more lately.

Installed these bilstein 6112s to the front, set on lowest setting got about an inch of lift, rides really good!

That has to surprise people when the door opens and they get the blast of red, especially in a white truck. I love it when there’s something unexpected going on in an otherwise “normal” vehicle.

Won't be doing the red seats, but I have plans to do the red trim piece across the dash when I finish blacking out the front. Nice to see someone else do it. Looks as good as I had imagined.

I tried installing a WeatherTech storage system under the rear seats. Turns out it doesn't fit the CrewCab. Bummer.
Looks like the only under seat storage system for a 2017 tundra crewmax in the recessed kind that requires cutting the carpet, pad, and foam, in order to install.
The installation videos look pretty straight forward. Does anyone have the recessed storage system in their crewmax? I'm curious how well they work.

They are available now if you look
I just ordered one through EPS. They have a 25% off deal on the plastic ones. Cheapest I've seen em. Install looks super easy.

The lack of underseat storage on the crews was a serious oversight by Toyota.

Gain staging is really important. A few things to consider is that the actual wattage being used will obviously vary depending on content and amplitude (volume). As long as your amp isn't rated higher than your speakers, you're typically safe to run the amp at 100%, unless it makes your first gain stage (volume knob on the radio) too sensitive. If that is the case, dial the gain back 5% at a time until the radio volume knob's sweep is acceptable. Without getting into the nuts and bolts of it all, thats the easiest way to approach it!

Most speakers base dB output are measured at 1w/1meter I believe, and you have to double that wattage for every 3dB of amplitude. You can almost always cause significant hearing damage by the time you get close to 'clipping' your amp. If you're not a reckless listener, you should be just fine. :headbang:

I have a spot in my right eye that is just to the right of my focal point. I have had this for over 30 years and hated the green in the early computers. I have changed my background to dark for many years but it was not as easy as it is today. A black background is much better in my opinion

Finally was able to get my truck back Friday. So 11 days from drop off to dealership for squirrel chewed engine wires and an oil leak, to back in my hands. Overall not too bad. Could have been 8 days but state farm took awhile with the check (had to be made out to Toyota due to it being over 5k in repairs).

State Farm approved the wire issue in 1 day. And the oil leak was warranty approved in 2 days (paid for 4 years 48k miles warranty. With this one issue I am now ahead). So pretty smooth transaction all things considered.

1 issue is I lost my aftermarket remote start. Not the end of the world. Have to take it back to another shop for them to redo that but it is what it is.

The rental Tacoma was nice, but there’s nothing like a tundra.
