Now come on, that is a New England tradition.... Whole milk fresh delivered by Hood & you take the chill outta it with a "splash" of vodka..

And that shows you how old I am ;)

They're nothing special. Videos like always never do justice. They were so loud you could feel it in your chest and they absolutely flew up that hill. I'm glad I learned about that event today and I'm definitely going to go back next year if I have off.

You mean ear protection? Absolutely, my winter hat had ear flaps :D No we only stood close enough for it to hurt your ear for a little bit for pictures and videos and then we went far enough away where it wasn't bad.

We have a buddy who’s dad has been in the construction business for 30+ years, and one day we were all getting ready to work and we watch him just jam ear plugs into his head right out of the bag, he never once rolled them between his fingers to insert them……. I guess it works?

There are many different types. Some actually are meant to just be inserted, usually used in dirty workplaces where rolling would soil the part that goes in your ear. ( No I'm not an ear plug enthusiast my workplace offers a bunch to choose from AND makes us do training on hearing protection )

So a buddy had the weird like wax ones that you kinda just jam in like that when we went shooting, they felt weird.
But I think it was just your standard orange foam ones.

Also, I kinda like getting foreign objects in my ear from my dirty mitts………
It does drive me bananas when I forget to put them in before I start touching oily metal and grinders. But usually I’m smart enough to have gloves on when I’m touching that stuff, so I can take them off and get less weird stuff in my brain cavity

You wouldn't understand Dandelion wine or Rhubarb liquor either o_O :p

What Mother Nature supplies you with can be quite tasty :drunk::drunk::drunk:

When you grow enough potato's and screen the fluids dripping off the "seasonal bins" you can create a mild Vodka also ;)

I have fond memories of my dad making pancakes with a can of beer, he didn’t drink, so it was usually some nasty stuff, but the cakes were great! He would get looks while we were camping with scouts, when he cracked it open at 0630.

Growing up we knew when the home brews were about ready ; all the beer purchases started to come in bottles instead of cans... ;)

Drink the beer and then boil the bottles in Mom's Canning kettle ; o_O You best be dam careful drinking out of an unlabeled brown bottle , you

might be drinking "Fire Water" :p....

Country songs that have the lyric of cobwebs on the bottle :hattip:, November through February out of the root cellar..:monocle: and we are all here to

Beer in any bread batter = better flavor and aids in rising and an element of 'fluffiness'!!!

    I approve

You are spot on w/that statement...

I remember watching jet dragsters on TV when they first started coming out. Then late in the season Sacramento raceway is hosting a PRO event w/2 jet dragsters doing a 'demo' during intermission. I paid for a pit pass for that whole event, and I'll tell you the sound, feel, the heat can NOT be duplicated or truly experienced unless you are there in person.
