Has anyone here had their chrome bumpers powder coated? If so, how well have they held up?

Does anyone have recommendations on a good shop to do the work in the Dallas Fort Worth area?

What's a reasonable price for the work?

Well that was my other thought. I just thought the powder coat might look better

I had all four of mine powdered. Only had them back for about a month but so far so good. My guy charged me $150 which seemed fair in Denver.image.jpg

Who did your power coat here in Denver? I just may want to use him.

Blue Flame on Evans near Federal. I've used them twice now and quality is really good. Took a few weeks but worth it in the end.

Thanks for that. Did you pull everything off and give it all to him at once? I need to have front/rear bumpers and grille powder coated but my truck is my daily driver. Maybe I should give Blue Flame a call. Prices are very reasonable.

Also I went with a slight textured black that they recommended for bumpers. I guess if I ever scratch them they said Rustoleum Textured Black spray paint is a perfect match for touch ups.

I give them a call at lunch. This is probably good timing for me to get this checked off my "things to do list".

Probably looked a little funky but no way around it.

Thanks. I was originally going to try to match the silver but glad I went black. Here is a rear corner pic.image.jpg
