Like actually Friday in the morning?
Yes you will make it to camp fine. There are GPS cords on the site, but it’s west on schnebly hill rd about a mile down. If you get there at that time, people will still be “up”

Like 1 hour into the 28th, middle of the night/early morning yes. 1AM. Realistically I'll need to make pit stops along the way, so probably more like 2am

I think I heard there is cell reception there? If that’s the case we could likely scout a spot and guide you to it. Or just get you to the area at a minimum. Time for everyone to switch to military time…

I still don't see coordinators on the website

The 24hr clock is the best clock.
OK so I checked my email and found this:
Sedona Camp Site, V8XW+RWF Munds Park, AZ, USA

    I guess that's it?

Yes, you can arrive at 1AM. Crawl in slowly so you don't run over any dogs or drunks. There should be a location pin to mark camp-- if you need a map, map, lmk: And if you make the trip, we'll make sure you can find camp.

Basically, it's the Schnebly Hill exit, then we'll lyk the #/10's distance on the graded dirt road between the freeway and camp. If you'll sleep in your truck, it'll be easy to fit in anywhere, dial in final location in light of day.

If you'll need to set up a tent, let us know so we can mark out a place for you, and figure out how to mark it so you can find it in mostly dark.

I'll try not to be to annoying with questions over the next month but I'll probably have a lot more. Apologies in advance. As we get closer I'll try to exchange phone numbers with people that are going.

I know the weather is unpredictable but is it cold enough to where most people are using a heater and sleeping bag at night? I was thinking I'd bring our Rumpl blankets and our Mr Heater Buddy. I've got some sleeping bags that are comfortable down to around 40.

The first year I went with my 12 year old son and we FROZE at night. After that I bought 0° rated bags, use a Buddy heater in the tent when I first go in, kinda warms the tent up while I'm getting ready, then I turn it off before I get into bedding so I don't have some freak CO2 tragedy.

Also, my gazelle tent won't trap any heat from occupants (too tall), so when it's just me, I bring a smaller tent.
