Tapped into existing power, turned existing outlet into a switch, ran wire for new outlet above cabinets for cabinet lighting. I’ve never done this (tap into existing power) before, so I may double check my work ar some point

@Fotnot would've destroyed that, although he probably would have made good use out of the lazy Susan while doing it.

I cleaned out the gazebo and moved a bench from there to the side porch. No before pics. Just imagine the gazebo being piled up with boxes, a ladder, bags of dirt, etc. I've added painting and repairing it to my list of shit I'll never get done.

I converted a bedroom into an office for the wife. Repainted the walls, removed the carpet and replaced with new flooring. Found out there is a much easier way to install folding doors. 00F83A1B-B648-440B-90D7-BFC7259D4024.jpg5394DBFF-8BAD-47C8-B3BB-7BA7C52A0F9A.jpg

Here’s the next project. I hand built this 10” telescope many years ago. Actually hand ground the mirror to the right focal point but recently I bought a new improved focuser which threw off my focal point. In order to get it corrected I have to move the mirror closer to the lens. Hoping, according to my measurement I didn’t cut too much off. 36839D72-78AD-439B-BD3E-1B740F4A5541.jpg

It's not a fun job but it needs to done.

What’s the purpose of the curb? Looked at a house for sale that had a prior fence done that way. Most of the fence was gone, the curb remained.

Oh, I here that.. You more than have a days work ahead of you..:fistbump:

Part 1 of inside Reno almost completed... Dam Finish trim was back ordered o_O:mad: and I ventured to the outside...

Took all the decorative block curves ~~~~ out and made straight lines ( with my wife trying to tell me how to run my string line)

and then replacing & upgrading most of the previous plant material owners had.... fell 2 bags short on mulch but lighting should be here Friday.

Luckily for me... Butterfly's have already found it..:D:D:D:cool::cool::cool::cool::cool:

I just did it to keep the fence off the dirt.

Yep fun stuff items being backordered it's just a new normal it seems, went through that the past 2 years with total redo of 95% of the house ( only the basement bathroom is left but I have to cut some concrete to move plumbing and I just don't feel like right now, so back outside to finish up some projects ) ..This will probably be a 3-4 day project I set 16 posts and got 80 feet of curb done today

Well, I know this isn’t a home improvement project per say but here is the update, got this done and reattached the mirror back in the telescope. Took me about 2 hours just to get everything aligned and was about to take it out last night for a test run when the clouds moved in. Hoping my measurements were correct and I didn’t take too much off. If so it’s back to square one. Don’t mind the messy room.030B0C99-2AB4-4D21-9C3F-211C08C444E3.jpg

10” mirror that is 2” thick glass. Tube is the basic 12” diameter construction tube and almost 6’ tall. It got a lot of curious looks from the neighbors but now they just come over and join in when they see me out with it. It draws a crowd if I take it along camping.

Spent all day moving some electrical wires in conduit in the outside of the house that are in the way of a new set French doors going in tomorrow. Ran them up through the soffit. Hopefully pics tomorrow of the new French door setup!
