TRD vs K&N air filter?

    Right. Which is why I don't think it makes sense to run one if you don't have a performance build. Even with a blower I removed mine after killing a MAF.

    Worth noting lots of people run them with zero issues.

    Use what is stock if you aren't running into problems. AFE dry gets good reviews.

    I used to be into the Dodge diesel scene for a while. You could get a K&N intake system right from the parts counter until Cummins informed them warranty coverage would be denied for "engine dusting" from those systems.

    OEM really. A filter does nothing performance wise. Not even a fancy CAI, but people still waste money on them. I would run a AFE just because it's a reusable filter, other than that stay away from oiled filters.
