I don't like to talk smack, but KTJO 4X4...

I'm presently engaged in a back-and-forth with KTJO 4x4 via PayPal open dispute, having ordered an item, it being defective, and requesting support. After not receiving any response from them, I launched the case, and they responded to THAT immediately with a return label and a long list of requests such as the original box, parts and documentation. I keep everything like that, so it all went back, and now they're pushing for just a partial refund instead, of course.

I would like to encourage my fellow Tundras.com to shop elsewhere for their future purchases. For a company that self-proclaims on their website to "take great pride in listening to our customers" they're going to great lengths to try to avoid providing me with something that works as advertised, or refund my money.

Edit: I would also like to point out that I ordered this part without having searched the forums to learn about their sordid past here, their banishment as a forum-recognized vendor, etc. Learn from my mistakes, do more research than I did. =)

Eh, I'm a customer service rep from a previous lifetime... at a cable internet provider.

They're getting some pretty wicked, business-professional weaponized politeness. I'll push all the buttons PayPal will want to see to adjust the case in my favor.

 

PayPal is a crapshoot on whether or not you come out victorious.

 

Just curious, what item did you order?

 

Their auto rear window up-down adapter. It was clearly an issue with the controller module. I'd connect the harness without plugging in the module, and the window wouldn't function anymore, indicating it was wired correctly at least. Connecting the module would allow the window to function again, but only as normally. I inquired for support troubleshooting, then again for an exchange.
