Thanks, its the OEM 2018 Sequoia TRD Pro grill and Lip molding, both parts painted 202 black to match. yours looks great too

 

I went with the amber "hockey stick" to match the YotaLEDs...just about a perfect match.

how did you do those foglights? is there a kit? i have been looking for an upgrade and cant find anything that is an easy pop in upgrade. yours look good..

I bought them from Amazon, based off a recommendation from someone in the 2nd Gen Sequoia Facebook group. They are definitely bright, but they also are shining too high, even after I adjusted them down in their brackets as far as they will go. I need to see if I can get them pointed down more, because I don't want to blind oncoming traffic while using them.

That component in the lower grille is the Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC) on the Platinum models. It works pretty well, but when you start slowing down automatically and forgot it was on, you're like "What the heck is going on?"

They come with the pigtails that connect to the factory connectors, but they are not attached to the LED fog lights. So you have to solder them together. Other than that, they were easy to install.

how long did it take you guys to get your harness from xrunnerdude67

 

its been 1 month since I paid xrunnerdude and heard from him when he got my payment. since then he hasn't answered any of my emails etc.

 

The last time I heard from xrunnerdude was when I paid him and he let me know he recieved my payment. That was on Jan. 6 2023 but I sent money in late December 2022. Since then he hasn't answered any of my emails etc. I'm starting to wonder if something is wrong. I have all the parts, just waiting on the harness. Does anyone know him?

 

Does anybody know what purpose the relay serves in this configuration?

 

the way i understand it is the relay is for the DRLs at full or half power with the headlights on.

 

X runner dude is still around even though he hasn’t responded in this thread. He finally responded to my email this morning letting me know to PayPal him money to order a harness. Seems unreliable, going to pass…

 

Ya he replied to me also after a few weeks.

 

Xrunner responded and is sending me the harness. Good guy. It just may take a little while. For me it was around 6-7 weeks, which is fine.

 

When I bought a harness, it was around 2-3 weeks turnaround. That is not unreasonable for a guy that is offering to make these as plug and play as possible and is doing this in his spare time.

 

I am thinking of getting the sequoia headlights but I was wondering if the turn signals are sequential or is there something else that has to be done to make them sequential? The videos I have seen show both.

There is a video on the first page of functions. Idk if OEM is sequential or the ones you saw were aftermarket but pretty sure the first pages shows OEM

 

Yeah the videos on the first page are regular turn signals.. i was hoping that they were sequential by the wiring harness to the headlights

Finding oem headlights that aren’t 1,000+ is more of a challenge for me.
