I just installed a new unit purchased from manufacturer, Dasaita Max11, 10.2, PX6. It is in a '07 Tundra Limited with JBL nav unit. The correct CanBus cb005-1, was sent with unit.
The install went simply enough, unit looks great. I do have a but though, the SWC's don't work, the CanBus was supposed to take care of this. Also, the logos for Toyota and all others are not listed in unit. Everything else, rear cam, radio, car play, GPS work as they should, seems to anyway.
Just wondering if anyone has any idea what the problem might be, thanks for any help

You may need to go into the unit factory settings to enable SWC controls. I'll see if I can go into mine later today

Thanks I did stumble across the settings. It's a pretty good unit but the support sucks and it would help to have a comprehensive user manual.

OK, so there's a few steps here which may help you. I have the Dasaita Vivid version, and I think I last updated the software back around May or June so YMMV...

    1) Go to settings

    2) Navigate to the "Car" option

    3) Once in the "Car" settings, go to "Factory Settings". There should be a password prompt as well as a keyboard that pops up. If it doesn't pop up, go back and try again. This is usually a 3 number password, I think the default is "126"

    4) You should see a new menu with 7 different tabs. Go to "Canbus" and choose the correct Canbus. For my 2014 SR, I was instructed to choose "08 Toyota_Camry&Rav4(Simple)"

    5) Go to the "Other" tab, and scroll down. You should find "Steering wheel keys assign" Mine is set to "Can Key". I think by default yours may be set to "SWC Key"; if so, set it to "Can Key"

    6) Hit Apply, then Exit. Unit should restart. If that still doesn't work, then you may have to assign the steering wheel keys found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GJy1v3E2jQM

Most aftermarket Android based, non-name brand, electronics lack in user manuals, in my experience.

Just did this on my Dasaita unit in my sequoia. Would’ve never been able to fix the SWC problem without this. So posting another question to the knowledge base- my volume is loud. Like one click up from silent it’s loud and with a newborn in the car I don’t think it’s going to fly. Does anyone know how to lower the decibel level so that it’s starts off lower at its lowest setting?

Try logging into Facoty settings with 126. go to "Other". scroll to Amp settings, try changing the setting there?

Thanks! I tried that. It’s helped a little bit. But now I hear the ever slightest signal noise when there is no audio playing. It’s tiny but annoying!
Also- how is your mic? I took a call on mine and the person on the other end couldn’t hear me at all. And if they did they said my voice was jumbled.

Have you ever gotten confirmation from Dasaita that you have the correct Canbus/harness? My mic is OK - it's not stellar and people can definitely hear some background noise, but that may be because I have it tucked away behind some plastic paneling in my truck. I usually have to yell for people to hear me though

Yeah, originally got a canbus CB005 per Amazon, but it didn't fit. Then I contacted Dasaiata and they advised on the CB004. Everything all works. It's all just a little wonky. Radio volume versus music played through CarPlay versus amplified hissing signal sound (maybe this is the ground wire) versus microphone making my voice sound garbled. Maybe I'll try disconnecting the external mic and see if it makes a difference.

Radio is the biggest culprit. Definitely is too loud compared to everything else. Took a quick look at the link and will try this when I get home in a bit. Thank you for the find! Hoping this solves the volume issue and maybe incidentally fixes my microphone issue!

Update: that link that jimmyfu provided did the trick to balance out all the volume levels. Next up microphone check. People on the other end say my voice sounds muffled. I have my external mic that came with HU mounted by my steering wheel. I’ll try picking up a higher quality mic and giving that a go.

Were you ever able to fix the signal noise? I am having the same issue.
