This one's on us, I think. Last time she broke a glass in there, I was the one that cleaned and vacuumed initially, 2 years ago now? FWIW, we vacuum at least once a week, and have a housekeeper that comes in every other Monday who also vacuums everything.

I think this specific shard managed to somehow get stuck in a loop of rug fibers and she hit it just the right way...

We keep our house pretty tidy. Ask @Tundra2, he's been here. We put the kids to work, too, with chores, dishes, cleaning rooms. Just no vacuuming/mopping.

Little oxalic acid bath overnight and that thing'll be looking brand spanking new.

Oxalic acid works great if it's steel but you need to neutralize before disposal.

Likewise, I have a 3gal jug of Evaporust, that stuff is NOT a gimmick, it legit works very well on steel and can be reused and is totally environmentally safe.

If there's anything alloy, don't use it Evaporust. It will discolor alloys. But it's the easier to use product.

I’ve used muriatic acid. That stuff is stronger than evaporust at least from what I’ve seen at least on YouTube. Not really recommended for anything with a finish though.

Could be a lot of things. Step one would be a good washing to remove all the fluid, crud and dirt. Start with a clean trans and motor. Then see how high up the leak is coming from. Suspect places are pan gasket leak (east fix). Dipstick tube seal leak (easy fix). Input shaft seal leak (toughest to get to). Output shaft seal leak (not too bad to get to). Trans fluid cooling lines and fittings (easy to get to). Torque converter could also be leaking I guess, but I’ve never heard of that being the case.

Truth. I felt like a peasant in your abode. Nicest place I'd been to in a while on my own, and the whole house was open and inviting! It wasn't just the garage or what not!

This is what I run in all my Toyotas that I've ever drained coolant from. Works fine for me so far.

Used the truck to go pick up the latest money hungry piece.

Has a lot done to it already, only downside is it has 7600 miles on it. In great shape and setup really nice. Just need to downgrade from UHF/VHF radio to regular CB (to talk to the people I ride with) and maybe get some whip lights and I'll be set.

Oil change kit included with sale. Gonna get that knocked out and go hit the trail the weekend of the 10th. I envy all of y'all that can just walk out the door and be at a trail in 10 minutes.

We'll see how much use this thing gets over the next few years. Probably not as much as I'd like but hopefully I won't loose my ass on it too bad.

(Yeah, yeah the Christmas lights need to come down)

I'll shoot you a text but basically go anywhere you want and it's smooth offroading, shocks are setup real nice. Locked rear diff, instant 4wd engagement, lots of travel in all the right places. Gotta have a decent audio system and go out there and tear shit up with anyone else you can convince to get into one.

Had to drive the truck for another 15-20 miles today. 5oz of Trans-X definitely curbed almost all the chatter but I'm throwing in the towel. Just ordered 4QT of Lucas 80w90 and new crush washers. The Mobil1 75w90 LS has got to go.

I mean, I thought about just buying a 5gal tub, but FML there's just not much room in the garage. I need to offload a bunch of bikes and go through yet another round of garage re-org to find new and convenient ways to hang stuff up.

I see they have a p/n for 1gal pouches (I assume that's what a "tote" is?), it's Lucas p/n #10511. I just can't seem to find any LAPs or performance shops nearby that carry it. Looks like I get to work on my forearm action pumping... quarts. Yeah, quarts. I really wish this new hand pump pushed as much as my old one did.

(I don't need any more forearm strength from pumping )

Make a fluid filling system out of a 1 or 2 gallon hand pump pressure sprayer. Fill with fluid, pump by hand 15-20 times, take a break, pump another 10-15 times until its done.

@assassin10000 If that's your home, I'm jelly of the Hunter alignment system you've got there. Damn, I wish I could buy one used for a few grand and do that stuff at home. That and a wheel road force balancer.
