I assume it's more that it's way more expensive to produce things domestically than overseas.

Technically it's not 'my' latest purchase, but it's my sweetie's, and it was purchased for me. I approve.

4 of these. :) They ship today. I may have to wait a month or two to get them on along with the lift, as our priority is the vacation we're taking in May to the UK.

Thank you for sending it, but the reason I didn't google myself is exactly what happened when I clicked the link... Crap ton of photos pop up and they all look different.

I was just hoping to get a photo of a single tree in its natural environment :(

Sorry, I think this came off kinda smarta$$3d, but please know that tone was not my intention :hattip:

Check the build link in my signature.
Just don’t leave the 20v battery in those adapters. They will have a parasitic draw and render the li-ion 20v dead in a few days…even to the point of making them unable to take a charge. The NiCad system doesn’t have the same circuitry as the LI-ion tools to sense the low battery and fully kill any power draw is how I read/understood it.

those adapters work great otherwise (except they won’t allow the really big batteries to attach), just don’t leave the tool sitting with a battery installed

I’ve had my dewalt stuff forever. Gets the small jobs done around the house and garage. I also have rigid tools.

I guess I just didn’t want to completely toss a bunch of stuff I’ve had for 15+ years
