What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

You sure that the windshield is 5% and not 50%? 5% is definitely pushing for attracting law enforcement. Most shops would never even think about tinting it that dark. Mine is 50% and looks dark because all of the other windows are 5%. Post a pic.

but the ceramic-ness sure is making a diff.

I'm not even sure I could see out of super dark tint. My co-worker has the super dark window tint & you can't even see out the rear windows at night

 

Yeah it's hard to tell without seeing it. The ceramic tint for windshields is clear. Once it's installed you can tell that it has a tint to it. Mine is 50% and it definitely helps with heat and sun glare. I'll look for the pic but I have one showing looking through the windshield versus having the door open.

wow you did 5 percent on the windshield?? That’s gonna make driving at night be a pain. I did 70% ceramic and even with that I can tell it impacts visibility slightly at night.

during the day though would be awesome. ***edit*** it would help if I read the above. Never mind.

What part numbers did you use for the 1794 wood trim? I'm looking to replace my 1794 wood trim with the Limited wood trim hahaha

Started my transmission thermostat install today. Waiting on a set of hard lines. None to be had apparently. I’m going to run transmission lines(flexible) until the parts gods decide to smile on me. They have been in order for almost two weeks. No eta on when they will show up.

 

I have the thermostat housing already, and 2 quarts of WS ATF. Had to stop to take some things to some family members. So on my next day off, I will install the thermostat plum in the flexible lines, which are now just zip, tied up under the hood and fill and drain the transmission according to specs. Good thing is, I didn’t have to drill any holes.

 

I was able to use an existing but not used threaded nut just outside of the condenser. I did put a plastic shim behind here. It’s only held with three points of contact, but it’s solid as a rock.

 

Salsa color?

 

Installing a Dashmat. Just threw it up there, will fasten it down tomorrow. A

Poppy grizzly the color is cardinal red. If you look at the zippers on the front seats, that is salsa red. Cardinal Red would match closer to the red on Milwaukee tools.

 

IsaiahCanada I got the full leather set from Katzkins with perforated inserts and a bit extra vinyl of the same color to do the panels. If you want the center console in red, it's best to get that from LeatherSeats.com as they make one with actual stitching on the sides. I have one on order and will post it when I install it.

 

Bulldog93, i'm thinking the same thing. Just not big on those cheap plastic covers for the lower doors and center dash

Thanks! Here are the part numbers I had for the 3 separate pieces. I actually was trying to get the Limited wood trim pieces but when it came it was the 1794 wood trim. I didn't mind though. I like the look. That's the only down side to ordering parts....there are no real pics, just drawings so you're not sure if it's the part you want sometimes.

What is the part number you bought for the radio surround with OEM black for 4WD? I have been wanting to do this for a while and my wife said why not. I am itching to get out, been stuck at home doing a HUGE job with my yard. The more I dig the more I find… I know stop digging

 

I have had mine in for a few years and it is working just fine, you are gonna love it. I have my GMRS antenna mounted on the top. Looks like yours has the antenna mount also
