I completed my LED swaps with the last lights on my list, the puddle lights. It was a very easy 10 minute swap and I can tell even in daylight that they will be a huge improvement.

    Too many mods to come
Secondary vacuum intake parts trickling in. Thanks to @831Tun for the pieces you made. Just waiting for the other line to arrive no thx to summit for the split delivery. Much better to piece it together than paying the ridiculous amount sdhq charges for this.

I installed my front any time time camera kit, I opted for the “premium” camera but the quality is rather poor, even compared to the factory rear camera. :notsure:

I'm glad to see someone else post this. The "premium" one is about $13 on Amazon after I looked into it last year. I was debating on trying to find a replacement but haven't had any luck.

Yeah it’s so pixelated during the day and the viewing angle is so wide it just looks like shit. Does the job as far as using it for parking, but the overall image quality is shit to be honest

Agreed - my issue was night time also - the flare washes out until it tries to adjust for the fog lights when switched on but its pretty useless

yeah nighttime has soooo much static it washes out any detail. When I switch in my fog lights it’s a big improvement. I’d gladly pay 80-100 bucks for a HD camera if I can find one.

This is going on soon. Doing some prep work so it’ll make the install easier.

Harness is set, lights are set, figured out which wires are cargo lights, dim brake lights, bright brake lights and ground.

Next is to find a sunny day to take off the OEM 3rd brake light…

Snow in the Bay Area is a rare sight, so we had to go check it out, drove up to the summit of Mt. Diablo. It was also our little guys first experience In the snow.

So I've heard... what is the hardest part about it? Prying it from the rear after lifting the clip in the middle section?

Breaking that foam seal loose. It has some strong adhesive on it. I had to use 3 plastic pry tools at once to get mine off when I was eliminating my cargo lights.

The wife's uncle lives in Rohnert Park. We went from there up to Point Arena and then to Fort Bragg. Could not get back across to I-5 due to all the road closures so went back south on 101 and cut across on 128 to 505 and home from there. It was a fantastic road trip / adventure. Laughed A LOT !!!!!!!

Good luck. I tried doing the same for the backup/tailgate cam. No dice. I even thought I'd found one on Amazon that advertised a better resolution (800 TVL vs stock 600 TVL) and went through the fun of splicing it into the harness. A total bust - the pic was worse with a greenish splotchy area in the corner of the screen and generally bad pic. Put the OEM cam back in and resigned myself to have what we have.

yeah we used to host a group ride, foolishly named the “Berryessa GP”. After a while we were having turnouts of 50+ riders, then crashes started to happen every ride. I started doing track days after that.

Whatever this forum told me to do
had to change the windshield due to the Tornado damage.

well, the window dude asked if I wanted ceramic tint (5%)on it before he installed it.

    sure.

man, let me tell you....it makes a huge difference on sunny days.

Big group rides with mixed skill levels are sketchy. Always better to keep group rides small and with people you know/trust to not ride stupid.

Our Tuesday night rides were awesome with only 5-6 riders. Sunday rides could be fun, or sketchy depending on who showed up.
