I have the Alpharex pro series headlights. I’ve been looking to get new bulbs since the current stock ones are out and are not bright at all anyway.

i was wondering if anyone with the same headlights has a recommendation for either led or hid that won’t require me drilling the dust cover.

had been looking at the gtr 2 led and the morimoto HID.

I have retrofits with HIDs. They should come with a four conductor grommet that fits our dust covers perfectly, actually. Takes a little finesse, but you can force it into place and it’s waterproof.

It’s a modified stock headlight with projectors. But they use HIDs. So I’m using the same stock rubber boot you’re using.

I’m really considering the H4 LED mini projector replacements on a 1st gen. Much lower price point and don’t have to open the housing itself. Wish they made them in 4300k color temp though.

They do. I just ordered a set from CO Light. It's the Y7S Tri Color with 6500k, 4300k, and 3000k settings.
