So, we were back to sunny skies today on the coast, although still a bit chilly throughout the day (30s)... Here are a couple of quick photos from the living room looking west for contrast. Sorry for the poor quality, but just snapped them real quick in passing

Two 16oz teas in the morning and water the rest of the day. Try to have 2-3 Kombuchas a week to help keep things in order. Coffee no more than once a week otherwise I’m popping antacids like candy. Growing old sucks…

 

Man... I think I have the same issue starting up. I keep trying to blame it on other things, but I think it's espresso shots that are getting me

I can't be responsible for my actions if I have to stop drinking coffee (espresso)

Thanks... We are about 1/10 mile from the beach, but the house sits slightly elevated at about 110' ASL. The main living areas, kitchen and master are all on the second floor, so our views are pretty good

One of the things we really like about this house was the ocean views to the west and the forest views to the east. It's a nice contrast!!! This view is from the 2nd story deck off the kitchen. We have similar views from half of the master (the other half faces the ocean)...

Whelp, not working this weekend but apparently I’m not sleeping either. Still trying to process all that sushi!

 

Well, now I know why I overslept! Felt great, but full panic and run out the door kinda morning.

 

I need to get back in the habit of buying Kombucha, good stuff.

Still suffering the impacts of Tuesday/Wednesday's snow storm. Power outages that have lasted so long that backup generators are giving out and cell sites are going down.

Work stuff. I work for a telecom company, and we have some cellular sites that are down because they've been without power for days. Generators probably ran out of propane. Just a PITA on a weekend.

If there is a roaming agreement, then it'll go into roaming to keep service. Thing is, lots of times there are multiple carriers co-located on a single site/tower. When it's a power outage, everybody loses.

 

I love that stuff. I used to drink soda, lemonade, etc., until 2020 when I had a 6mm x 9mm S-shaped kidney stone that required a lithotripsy to get rid of. (aka Docs with frickin' laser beams). The recovery was **NOT** fun.

Anyways, I used to hate seltzer...until my MIL introduced me to Spindrift. It's essentially seltzer with 'fruit essence' (crushed fruit). Adds just enough sweetener to make it palatable for a guy who liked soda.

Anyways, I used to HATE seltzer with a white-hot passion, mainly because it tasted like they forgot to add sweetener, flavor and fun to the soda. Once I got used to Spindrift, one day I tried a grapefruit seltzer and said "Y,know, this ain't so bad."

Now I can't STAND even diet soda. LOL

 

Still legit full from all that sushi last night. But today I get…

 

If I have to have water, I'll just have plain water. Sparkling water is gross.

Oh yeah, Reign and Rockstar are horrible. I used to like Monster but can’t stand them now. Redcon1 makes some that are decent a pinch but taste more like flavored sparkling water.

 

I drink 1 energy drink a day and besides that, it’s only water.

 

I feel like I only drink soda when I'm at work or if I dine out. At home I usually just keep my @ToyoMafia Nalgene full of water. I try to drink at least two per day.
