I may need to ship ya a barrel. Unrepairable. Old 12g. One I used when we went hunting. Dad was carrying it and fell(not in a hole like you did) and bent it bad enough no gunsmith will touch it.

Maybe I could turn it into a knife for your dad. What does he usually carry when deer hunting?

Most shotgun barrels are 4140 (or an equivalent). Not considered a good steel for knives, in general. What I could do, is sandwich it on each side of a carbon steel core.
You’re gonna owe me, like, maybe 236 pheasants…:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Mamma bear did a cool filtered out photo of the dogs and the runner in the Chiricahuas once, one of the only filtered pics I kinda like. I’m a raw kinda guy……
I remember in HS to photo class a filed down negative carrier was the “hot” thing to do…….. it was legit, and kinda made you think about your shot before you took it. Lots of crazy shit went down in the dark/rolling room….. who’s hand is that!?!

    Traditionalist.

I get it. I like a good edit but filters are also lame. I think it’s fun to manipulate an image. Starting with a proper photo is still necessary.

I really liked photography class, I had dreams of making my own darkroom. I’m sure it’s the same with digital; it’s super fun to learn how to manipulate a photo with simple processes. I don’t have much access to a real computer so I just dream of the good ol days!
My favorite was doing B shutter exposure, light painting and the sorts!

i'm the same. i love going at it raw.
but really, i typically prefer the natural pics taken and not the overly filtered ones. they look cool, but something better about a raw, untouched pic.
kinda the same with makeup. use it wisely to highlight features, but don't go apeshit with it looking like a clown.
