Track your Tundra when in "F" status on the train

yeah we are desperately waiting for these to come in. the dealer even offered a 5% discount if we went with another wheel with red. but we went with these since they are the only set that had very little color to them. we wanted just a little splash of color to break up the rim blandness of all black.

so tired of following the lemmings in going black like 99% of the public does.

mostly we couldnt find a blue rim that matched the blueprint shade. looks really weird when you have a different shade of blue than the vehicle, doesnt look right.

 

they have these wheels in red but the wife wasnt to thrilled with them even though we had them on the 2016 tacoma. they looked good on the tacoma since the shade of blue on the rims match the blazing blue pearl pretty close. looking at these in red didnt give a warm fuzzy.

 

@bobbilly finally picked it up tonight. too dark and way to stinking cold to take pics (-8F with wind chill -41F)

have to say the dealership overview person helping the wife go over the features of the truck need to have toyota train these people better on initial setup of doing a profile/connected services setup. they spent like 2hrs and got nowhere with remote connect (this was the only thing i was concerned with the wife since its going to be below zero tomorrow). after they gave up and me out living my patience, got home and about 45 mins later had everything connected.

and btw, sos button for non emergency use doesnt work after 5pm EST it seems.

Thank you. I guess production got pushed back a few days. It was supposed to start on 2/14.

 

Much obliged!! Can’t figure out why transport keeps getting pushed back. Dealer said up to a 30 day hold two weeks ago, which from what I’ve read was for a software update for the display. I assume the hold was then cleared on 2/15 along with similarly equipped vehicles since it says not on hold..hmm.

 

In my unprofessional opinion, shortage of laborers. From the railyards to the truck drivers, seems to be what I'm hearing. Just not enough hands to get them processed as fast as they use to.

Your temp VIN isn't pulling anything up, bug your dealer and they can get your permanent VIN!
