Hey Y’all, last post was probably over a year ago from Oregon. It’s been a year of travel and now I’m on the coast of Maine for the winter. At 247k, I’m poking around at rebuilding the transmission before heading through Canada and Alaska for the rest of the year. I’ll see you over in the 1st gen forum.

Wait, where are you that you got snow? I've been driving back and forth from Southern NJ to NY city since beginning of January and haven't seen a hint of snow

We got about 2” yesterday in Somerset County before the rain started around 5 p.m. The snow lasted long enough for my kids to play in it after school. Then the rain washed it all away.

did some camping (cabins) in old forge NY this weekend for a snowboarding trip at McCauley mtn.

 

Heavy snowfall in Texas, schools closed, businesses closed or opening late.


Actually, there's a heavy layer of ice on the roads, be careful and stay safe.

Wow, that’s a lot of snow. I have it in my head that I want to live in Montana before I croak. Trying to swing an extended tdy at some point to take the state for a “test drive” first though.

 

It was about 15 inches.. Then it got busy that night! Needless to say skiing was fantastic!

 

I don’t think I’ll be using my daily driver for a few days.


Tundra will have to fill in.


3 more days of snow, -25C and colder windchills in the forecast. Can it be springtime soon??
