Does anyone know where I can get something scanned and 3d printed?

I have the pro holder phone mount for my tundra and it comes with a clip that snaps between the radio and drivers side trim to hold the phone securely. I would like to have a matching one on the opposite side of the radio for my work phone or my wife's phone. Pro holder only makes the driver's side one so I was hoping someone could scan the driver's side clip and reverse it for the passenger side. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks guys.

That's gonna get expensive. Have you tried emailing the manufacturer and see if they could, or have done that already? Likely cheaper to research more mounting options for the other side.

Yeah I figured as much, I was hoping maybe someone on here had a printing business or a machine at work they are allowed to use. I have the rago dash mount I just wanted the phones down lower then that.

I could definitely give that a shot. That will work with the phone mount and hopefully support the weight. I'll buy that today and give it a shot. Thanks! The only other options I found were drilling or running a long arm down from the dash mount.

A passenger side would be nice, especially for the wireless charging. I had to modify and JB Weld mine because it bounced and vibrated so bad. I wish they had one for the 4Runner too.

There isn't much real estate in my 2000 4runner and I really don't want to waste a cup holder on it so if this sticky mount works I'll try and find a spot for it in the 4runner as well.

PM me. We can go back and forth and then I can get something printed to test. If it works, I can send the file to a buddy with a resin printer. I wouldnt trust filament long term with the sheer force.

The Rago console “Bridge” provides nice places to mount things but it blocks the glove box from opening. I have the molle rail system mounted on the sides of my console and have an arm coming up from there to sit next to my knee. I do not need my phone in view, it comes on the stereo screen anyway when a call/text comes.

The idea of 'scan and print' is really a misconception and the mfg likely won't give you a mirrored STEP. You're going to need a CAD file made for it and often the part has to be designed with the intent of being printed. Your best bet is to give that to someone so they can reverse it with calipers.

Like above, a resin print would be nicer, but filament printed on 45deg has worked well for me on parts that require getting around the weak interply bonding. I'd make that in two pieces - base and ball mount. The base can be printed vertically and ball on 45deg.

That is my plan. Take one, measure and design, flip and print in two pieces. I may even see how much I can just buy a ball mount for and then screw it in, still maintaining two pieces. That would also eliminate some of my concerns for the sheer points.

If this turns out worth a damn, and passes resting, I'll post up the file and link. Fingers crossed.

I made a part for my 2.0 with column shifter to horizontally hold my phone using the pocket below the TC selector. Doesn't look like it's there for the 2.5. Was going to suggest that as another idea.

I definitely thought about this but I uh... need to grab my insurance and registration far to often to lose access to my glovebox.
