However, with the Bulletproof lift you probably wouldn’t need the high clearance bumpers or fender trimming.

So for me it’s probably the BMC and right offset wheels. Not sure what my wheels are now as they came on the truck.

Yeah. Lift is high enough to clear the wheels. If you plan to wheel the truck then I'd recommend the 0 offset 17" wheels but if it's staying on the pavement then a -24 20" wheel would work.

Yeah, no wheeling for me. It stays on pavement most of the time.

I have Fuel 20” wheels, just not sure of the offset.

If your wheel sticks out about 2" from the fender, then it's likely a -24 offset.

What about 6.5”? That’s from the front bumper (I have fender flares) to the outer sidewall of the tire.

    I’m running 38x13.50x20 tires and I think 9” or 9.5” wheels?

Sounds like you have 20x10 -24 offset, which is very common for that size.

Thanks @Cruzer, I still get some rubbing on the front bumper at close to full lock and in reverse. I could probably install some bumper shims (I think I have some from the SDHQ hidden winch bumper) to space that out some?

would you say 40 x 13.50 x 20 would be the next size up to move to with the BMC?

sorry OP if I’m jacking your thread, but I’ve got cruzers attention and I’m getting as much info as I can. Lol

Check out the Coachbuilders bulletproof upgrade kit to go along with the lift itself. I think I have most of what they’re offering in that kit on my truck now.

I'd probably trim the inside of that front bumper because that part comes towards the wheel.

    Yes, 40x13.50x20 and BMC.

Do you know if BP stepped away from Fox shocks in their kits because all I see on their site now are BP branded shocks.

I think so, but I don’t know for sure. I bought my truck with the lift already installed and I also have Fox Shocks.

I’m sure they’re having someone just private label their shocks with BP branding.

David over at Coachbuilders was very helpful when I bought my rear shackles and the bushings didn’t fit. Of course I had a smaller eyelet in my leaf springs and the shop I used had to put them on a lathe.

I honestly couldn’t tell you. The shop had them out but by the time I saw them they were so cut up bc they had a hard time trying to press them out. Would’ve used the original bushings if they didn’t have to hack them up so much.

if you get the 3” shackles to level the truck out they’ll come with poly bushings. I just had the shop shave some off to fit.

I’m east coast so we call it the Carolina Squat. But there is a little squat with the BP lift.

The 3” Shackles leveled my truck up perfectly.

now that you picked it up, mind me asking what you paid for it?

I also just replaced the uniball for the UCA’s as they were starting to make noise. Also looked like some Teflon tape or something was coming out of them too.

I would reach out to Bulletproof and Coachbuilder and figure out what items you should replace and get all that together first.

Dismantled, missing parts have been acquired, and it's now sitting in my garage waiting for me to save the $$$ to rebuild the shocks then powdercoat.
