    Something’s fucky
There’s a couple different PNs for the actual PRO wheels if I recall (as well as the ones that say TRD instead of PRO), but that price seems high even so. Perhaps the sequoia ones are special? Only way to be 100% sure would be to talk to a dealer with the VIN.

I plugged that in without searching with the sequoia that way it wouldn't say it wouldn't/would fit it. but yea, i agree, seems weird.

I know I’ve seen the actual Pro wheels (not TRD) for the same price as those bronze ones. But don’t recall the part number.

Anybody here have blue wheels mounted? I’m thinking of grabbing these KMC Lobos in blue but want to get an idea of how they look on LR. Thanks ahead!! 3763E49F-23E9-4E67-8F0C-2E5AFD75335F.jpg

    Nope.
But I saw a plain Jane SR5 in silver yesterday that had the heritage bronze wheels on it and I can’t get them out of my head now.

Here's one I had seen on a different vacation i was able to get a pic of. It was the first time I had seen LR on a Rav4
    [/QUOTE]

I see LR Rav4's on the regular up here in Maine like almost one a day. The new Tacoma's in LR are quite abundant too. a few 4Runners in LR around but what I don't ever see is the Sequoia in LR haven't seen one yet! Yesterday was an odd one, I saw 2 Tundra's in LR one within 5 miles of my house and another in NH. first time I've seen more than one in the same day.

Same I see ravs all the time in VT, a few tacomas, maybe 1 or 2 4R’s. There are a couple 3rd gen tundra LR near by but I haven’t seen another 2.5 gen LR tundra here at all!

Anyone else notice a huge influx of LR Tacomas and 4runners now that they aren't just on pros? My town is full of them.

Also it's highly comical to me that in 2.5 years I've gotten like 2 compliments about the color of my truck in person, then my dad comes out to ski and his first trip (of 7) to home depot he gets approached in the parking lot by a fanboy. Still unclear if he fessed up about it being his daughter's truck or if he just took the ego boost since he's never owned a truck...

Been busy doing lots of skiing and boarding, huge winter in Utah this year, and I finally broke down for a car wash package, so the next month of record breaking snow is thanks to me. 4wd is required a few times a week, and the truck is performing wonderfully. Pretty obvious who moved to town in the last few years (thanks covid!) and don't know how to drive in snow. Got rear ended by a vw today with GA plates and the hitch receiver put a nice hole in his plastic bumper. No damage to my baby thankfully.

Hope everyone is well and remembering to get dirty!

    awesome stuff.
i'm sure if it's anything like most i've noticed, guys don't approach women as often to compliment a truck out of fear of rejection/judgement/intimidation/etc. I personally don't care and will compliment anyone if i like it. but my wife notices i get approached by a lot in public about my vehicle (presently as well as in the past with previous rides). She gets approached by co-workers that know her vehicle and see her in something different, then proceed to compliment the truck.

sucks about getting rear ended, but luckily no damage it sounds like. another reason i keep mine on.

Love seeing your updates. Still very jealous of the amount of time you get in the mountains, but I have been making a good effort to get out more.

Andy's right - I think most men are intimidated by approaching a woman to compliment her on anything. I have noticed a huge influx of mostly tacos, and a few 4Runners in LR...and RAV4's everywhere.

It helps that I live in the mountains, but I'm always driving to different ones. Too much wanderlust. Ski town rent isn't awesome, but I like having these lawn ornaments...

Can anyone weigh in on a fog light issue? My left isn't working and I tried asking a few people to get in there and figure it out, no luck. Dealership told me that since it wasn't stock on pros they couldn't do anything. Had a spicy conversion with the man about them actually being a standard pro accessory. They couldn't/wouldn't warranty it and said I could get a new one for 500ish. I skipped that route. Have an opportunity to get a takeoff set from a 21 pro being sold with an aftermarket bumper for 250. Should I go for it or try and fight Toyota/rigid for a replacement?

Sounds like a typical dealership response. It absolutely is factory on your truck. But if you’re out of warranty, you may be out of luck getting them to take care of it. Have you double checked that it isn’t just a connection issue? Not that I think it’s common for those to go out, but you do venture off pavement and get your truck dirty frequently. Could be that the connector is loose or dirty. Those plastic fog housings that come on the Pros are known to wobble a lot in the plastic bumper caps. Many people secure them with zip ties. Maybe yours wobbled something loose. :notsure:

That was standard on the Pros and its proof that the salesman doesn't know what he's talking about, and too afraid to know that women are much smarter than he.

I think I'm out of warranty (didn't buy the extended) and I'm at 47k now. It could just be a rattled loose error wire but it doesn't seem to be rattling back in  I mostly came to the conclusion of "ehhh whatever" but driving through a snowstorm in Wyoming a few weeks ago it would have been helpful. Thankfully the passenger side one worked so I had a good-ish idea of where the edge of the road was. Otherwise it was all starwars and murdering bunnies:rofl:

I assume the connector for left and right is the same. Maybe swap them to isolate the connection issue or the foglight itself.

That dealership person is an ass-hat. I'd be looking forward to school his ass just to do so.

BUT, you're outside the 36k "bumper to bumper" warranty and fog lights aren't considered part of the drive train. So troubleshooting yourself will be first path.

You can get to the fog lights by removing the lower front fender liner - remove the two 10mm head bolts on the side, and two 12mm and (I think) one 10mm head bolts on the underside of the bumper. Don't remove the two that hold the front little mud flap in place or you'll fight putting them back. There's also a body clip against the frame, and then the liner will pivot downward using the outer edge as the pivot point.

Check the connections from the light into the fog housing and make they are good. Unplug, then replug and make sure it clicks. Then test them. If it's dead, then try pulling the two fog lights and swapping them to the other sides (the connectors are the same). If the one that started on the driver's side is still dead, then chances are it's the light - buy a new one and go forward. If the actual Driver's side is still dead, then its somewhere in your wiring and spending $250 or $500 on new cubes won't fix it.

Back to my usual activities. Quit my job because it was getting in the way of my life  spent the last week around Idaho and Montana camping, hot spring soaking, and snowboarding. Built a pretty cool ice sculpture on the truck driving through a storm in Yellowstone. Headed in for my 50k checkup on Tuesday, brakes are feeling a little shaky, so I'll probably be replacing them soon. Other than that, everything is still great!
