I do the same rotation. I put a LOT of miles on my broke feet every day.

These are supposedly thicker than most socks, and you can see the left big toe hole in the right hand sock. Rotation lol

Alternator, serp belt, and t-stat (housing has to come off) ordered for replacement on the Lexus this week hopefully. Was hoping to get an alternator locally but the major price difference between napa and rockauto made rockauto really make sense. Just have to deal with shipping the core back. Haven't done that with RA before.

to be fair, those are some quality looking sticks. I wouldn’t even know where to find such items otherwise. Oh wait, maybe in the woods. For free.

Bought this little 110/220 Volt stick welder today for $50. Only thing wrong with it is the ground clamp was missing the clamp. Easy fix. Here's an Amazon link to this welder.

Tyler, and I soldered this on as well as put some loctite on that lug. Don't really know if soldering was a good idea as I didn't think about the amperage. Thoughts? Do I need to re-do this?

Kinda regret not going with a bigger Magnet. May remove the solder anyways, but I'd love to learn if that's a bad idea, and why.

It works on 110/220 as advertised.

Video uploading right now. We had the POS/NEG reversed, and didn't realize it until after the video. We aren't that well versed in stick welding...

    Power(watts)= I^2*R, where I=15 amps max * resistance of the wire. I^2=225.

The resistance can be looked up based on wire gauge, number of stands, & wire material. I can’t recall offhand how to convert power to heat, but there’s a formula for it.

Besides, when was the last time you burnt your hand holding the insulated ground wire? Solder melts around 325F.

My main mental concern with it was that I basically made it all one wire right there at the lug. If memory serves, amps carry through the "skin" of the wire. So I just made a bottle neck?

Also, I've never seen any other welding clamps soldered...
