I washed my truck at work last night, there is a lot of road grime I couldn't get off. The paint feels rough to the touch, assuming I need a clay bar treatment?

 

That’s what mine is going to get when it gets a bit warmer. Clay bar, polish, and ceramic coating this time around!

@GreenThunder got it. I thought this was kind of a “free wheeling” forum. Not trying to get political or anything else or getting kicked out. I just thought the article was interesting. I’d like to get to an EV truck. Own 3 oil burners. Based on the previous posts, thought this was within reason.

 

Correct. The clay bar is going to strip everything off the truck. It would be the time to polish if you want to try and get any swirls or small surface scratches out before putting on wax. The polish is part of my routine every spring and fall but could be skipped I guess. This will be the first time I try a true ceramic. I’ve used Griots 3 in 1 which is a great product but does t have the longevity of an actual ceramic coating.
