Had the windshield replaced and a couple weeks later found these under the hood. Parts book says fender to cowl insulators pn#53869-0c030. Anybody know the proper location? Looks like one for the left, one for the right. 9A832158-44DF-4D81-A9E8-1B630678FC2A.jpg

Possible. I compared mine to a neighbors truck and didn't see anything missing, unless his are gone too.

If you look at link at bottom of my pic, the first post to that thread shows what was missing. Should then know if possible or not.

So, I found out where they go. With the door open looking forward they push into the gap at the top of the fender between fender and windshield. The curious part is the left side has an extra bit of trim on it that the right doesn’t. You can see it in the shots in the first post. The right fender was replaced before I got the truck so I think they either put in a piece from a different year or removed the edging for some reason. I’ve looked at trucks prior to 2006 and they use the same part I have. If any of you folks have a 2006 AC, could you take a couple pics of the part on the right (passenger) side and post them up? Perhaps even both sides. I would like to know which is correct (yes, I’m that anal ).

Hey @GXPaycheck sorry for the delay. I did a bit of work on the truck today (ranger on MC, rear diff)

Remembered you asked for these and snapped the pics you asked for. Hope it helps.

Thanx! Both of yours have the seal on the back edge. My right side doesn't. Looks like whoever replaced the fender used the wrong bit. Now I'll have to search for a wrecked AC to get the correct one.
