I was looking for a complete Oem oil change kit and only found one for $100 shipped to me. Is that too much?

Considering I pay ~$100 just for oil, I'd say no.

    What a ripoff.

I spend about $28 on oil and $7 on a filter.

^ this. It’s about $40 for the oil I use and $7 for a filter with new o-rings. You can buy everything at Walmart.

$50 for 2 of the 5 quart jugs and $5 for an OEM Toyota filter with O-rings at Wally World. And you have some left over for other oil changes.

They have OEM filters at Walmart? Do they say Toyota? Or just a big name brand that makes them for Toyota?

And yes, that’s fish oil in the pan on the left and motor oil in the jug on the right. We were very careful not to cross contaminate them. That’s how I remember it anyway.

I get the Supertech full synthetic and Toyota filter at my Wallymart. Motiv filter wrench and a big oil collector.

From my experience, the OEM filters are cheaper from some online Toyota Parts dealers than at Walmart. Go here https://parts.toyota.com/ and put in the filter part number and go through the different dealers and find the cheapest, usually cheaper than Walmart, I ordered a case so I dont have to buy one each time I buy oil. Order over $75 and get free shipping.

Put a new $0.10 drain plug washer in the new genuine Toyota oil filter box with the other 37 proprietary pieces and parts in there for the love…

My washer has been stuck to my oil pan since my first oil change. Bought ones to replace it before hand but not willing to damage the pan trying to get it off, so there it stays.

Yeah, they’re pretty much welded on there from the factory after they put the drain bolt in retard tight

Supertech isn't crap. Performance testing has proven it is good stuff, especially for the money.

Thinking it outperformed or was on par with some of the the big brands.

Made by one of the big brands for Walmart I’m sure. Like Kirklands at Costco
