Had a deposit since late Oct, built in mid December. Since there has been a few issues with the new truck, what do I inspect or have checked when the truck arrives other than the usual paint interior , test drive?

Thank you, that is excellent info, and the checklists are tremendous. Can one request the fake engine noise be turned off and checking for TSBs ?

Depending on your trim, if you turn the fake engine noise off, you also turn off active noise cancellation. My plan was do as you suggested but after driving it, I kinda like it now. You only hear it when starting out and if you tromp on it to pass. And no way I would cancel the noise cancellation.

Idk where you are but that rapguard issue could still be possible. It’s the white spots of moisture where the transport vinyl was. Mostly on hood and top of fenders.

I didn’t notice on my WCP until after I got home in Tx and after PPF. But heat gun took it out in an hour

Following… I was told my truck is at the dealership now. I fly to pick it up in less than a month. Definitely want to make sure that I am aware of the plethora of quality items I should check. Too late to turn back now!

They should be independent of each other regardless of model.

ETA - I could be completely wrong, but it makes no sense, otherwise.

or a 24, I dont expect the tundra to be like my LC200, but should be better than the 2019 f150 limited.

According to my dealer and another post in the exhaust thread, they are not separate

Lots of transportation damage it seems. Check vehicle post cleanup. Mine had some paint scratches from strapping I assume that was not visible pre wash. Could see from outer space post wash

And dealers have also told posters here it wasn't even possible to disable. All I've seen was the screenshot someone took of their techstream window that showed the options separate, and carista users reporting the options as separate. I guess my info is heresy, but I would never bet on the dealer.. The dealer would probably be the last on my list of authorities on anything related to the vehicles they sell.

Get a flashlight with you and check for bubbles under the clear coat. You won't see the bubbles if it's cloudy unless you have a good flashlight.
