Hi there I am finally taking the time to say hello. I have a 2013 cm baught bran new. I also had a 2000 tundra that I put a rcd 6" lift. I have always bin a big fan of Toyota. It is really nice to have more companies making parts for the trucks now. I put a daystar 3" and a ready lift 1" on it but I am about to get a 4" fabtech with a few other goodies. This is by far the best forum I have seen. So thank you and I hope I can give back to all of you. I have also put imige dynamic speakers in all the doors along with ********* EZQ recurve to add an amp. Jl 5 channel just need a sub. Planning on jl stealth box. I will start a build thread and keep you all updated.image.jpg

Thanks me too I am really excited to build this truck. It has taken me for ever to make a decision on the lift . It has to clear 82" garage so the 4" with 35 is going to be close.

How tall is your gradge? I have to verify this but from what I have read stock tundras are about 76" tall. So a 4" lift with 35" tires should lift it about 6" so it will be very close. It really depends on the tires. Toyo at2 measure out ar 34.5 so that will save me a half an inch so I need to mesure the truck before I pick the tire.

I have looked at those pictures may times. But everything I have looked at says the stock truck is 76" tall. I am also a little confused on pict 3 and 4. Dose that truck have a bds 7" kit on it? Going off those measurements the truck would fit in my 82" garage but I know that it would be too tall.

Yes 3 and 4 are BDS 7" kit. 3 with 33s and 4 with 35s. This is from a member on another forum so i do not know how he measured to the top of the truck.

What i can tell you is my measurements from my lift and Sean's lift. These should be true max height of the truck when level. I used a level on the top of the highest point on the cab and measured down from there to the level garage floor.
    • Toytec leveling spacer in front only and P285/70R17 tires: 77" (this would put stock right around 76" that you stated)
    • Toytec 3/1 lift with P285/70R17 tires: ~78.4" (extrapolated)
    • Toytec 3/1 lift with 315/70R17 Tires: 79.5"
    • Toytec 3/1 lift with 315/70R18 Tires: 80.5" (@Sean266)
When going into the garage you are not exactly level so you should account for another 1/2" going into the garage at an incline.

Ya those measurements sound much better. I am hoping the 4" kit with a 34.5" tire will leave a half an inch. Wish me luck. Once I get it all figured out I will post pictures with measurements. It will be in a few weeks.

Turn the garage into a man cave. Problem solved.
