I got the Toyota emblem a while back from Amazon. Yes the steering wheel trim is from AJT. It is very easy to remove them. 2 covers and 2 captive screws for the airbag, 2 screws that hold the switch assembly in on each side, and 3 screws on the back of each one. Video courtesy of @2020Platinum

Got the front EKR Seat covers installed from Amazon. Very impressed with the quality. Installed in the cold in MA, so I expect a little more form fitting to occur as they break in and warmer weather (hopefully) comes.

    Rears tomorrow likely.

Sweet Warrior, those and the Honda 400ex were favorites of mine growing up. I always wanted one but never got the opportunity.

    Just a few
Threw on some sumo springs in place of the factory bump stops. Pictures for comparison. Slightly firmer ride when not hauling anything.

Did the start up screen mod today. It was way easier that I thought it would be. The Great White Buffalo is what I call my tundra.

Are those just covers or did you take them off to have painted. Going to be working on mine soon.

Removed my factory side step. With the driver's grab handle in it was more of an obstacle to getting in and out than anything. This is at factory ride height. Yeeeah, she needs a bath! :eek2:

Also, checked between the fender liners and doors as others have mentioned they can collect debris. The passenger side was completely empty, but the driver side... o_O

It's so solid I couldn't get it out with anything I had on hand. Might need to remove the fender liner. Those fasteners don't want to come out in one piece though, so I may need to grab some new ones first.

    Neither!

I bought new parts from my local Toyota dealer that were already painted.

I did the same last summer. I tow a Lance 2285 @ around 6500# loaded. So much better. Went with the blue Sumos too. Yes it firms it up a little when there’s no load but it doesn’t beat you up. 9A64C82B-4C54-4B99-AAAB-3594D1132E73.jpg

The horizontal amber turn signals are unique and really cool imo. They are sequential also! 5E56FC84-F54B-48C9-9D69-CC58CD7B733F.jpg E863282B-E266-43B0-A243-23ADAECD1DD2.jpg

Is your truck white or cement? What did the dealer charge for your grill surround? Are the bumper caps next?

Not the person you asked, but the painted surround & hood bulge are pretty easy to install - just a few screws & clips to undo and then relocating the TSS parts, if needed.

The bumper caps are also pretty easy, but a bit more involved as you typically need to remove the front bumper (the section including both bumper caps, valence, and fog lights).

Yep....2018 and newer will need a TSS relocation.

Very easy to install. Probably took about 45 mins total.

My truck is white. The white grill and hood bulge was about $650. For the bumper caps I'm going to try something but not sure if it will work out, so I might just end up with painted to match ones as well.

Not only TSS relocation, but the grill emblem needs to be swapped over and there are two different styles for those. They are not cross compatible as they mount differently.

Found this mileage when I started the truck this morning.
Also ran it in 4 High for several miles. It was a bit temperamental getting back into 2WD.

Got an updated version of Techstream connected to reset my ethanol calibration after a couple hesitant cold starts the past month.
Also reset the transmission thermal degradation monitor while I was in there since I keep up on those changes.

Yep, got the plate. Ohio did away with the front plate a couple years ago and I removed the mount or it would be going there. These are quality lights but I do wish the back up LEDs were brighter.
