Some guys got ‘em, some guys don’t.
Is only 4 WD get the TRD?

It’s just a trim package. Some things “upgraded”
    2wd and 4wd have them

I have my original window sticker (and you can see on Toyota owners website too) showing that my 2006 DoubleCab 4x4 came with the TRD Offroad package. But my truck has no TRD bed stickers. I bought from original owner. Original paint for sure. I guess the original owner could have had the stickers removed, but I doubt it. (I didn't think to ask.)

I don't know for sure, but I think some of these trucks just came without the stickers even if they got the TRD package. Bed stickers weren't nearly as popular in the early 2000s like they are now.

Me too. Confirmed TRD package from the factory, but no bed stickers. Wasn't a big deal for me until I de-badged, now it feels kinda naked. Fortunately the decals seem to be cheap and plentiful so perhaps I'll add them after I do a paint restore this spring.

Dirt Deeds injectors, Addco rear sway, AEM dry flow air filter, last ever set of Stan's Try-Y headers, Borla full custom exhaust, front level, wheel spacers, and lots of electronics.
I was able to buy my truck from the dealer for cheap because it didn't have the stickers. They had two white double cab '06s on the lot. One was a XSP and the other an SR5.

The XSP had the 18" Enkei wheels, had more miles, and a worn leather interior. Since it was a higher trim spec they were asking more money.

The SR5 looked plain jane, had a Roll'N'Lock bed cover and Carfax showed was a 1 owner dealer maintained rust-free Texas truck. Looked under the truck and saw the Bilsteins and the LSD sticker and knew it was a TRD. Also was about $3k cheaper. That's the one I drove off with. Confirmed with Toyota using the VIN it was a TRD.

No doubt if they knew it was a TRD Off-Road package they would have bumped up the price.

Gonna be honest though, if that XSP had the 18" BBS I would have got that truck or tried to talk the dealer into installing them on my truck. I'm still on the hunt for a set of those wheels.

If anyone wants some TRD slaps, I’ll be glad to peel them off my truck and send them in the mail.

I have XSP badging so I don’t think I have TRD. How can I check to see
if I have the TRD package? Mine is 2WD. with the big Einke wheels.
Looks off road if you limit it to driving on Polo grounds

Not sure about a 2005, but most TRD packages will have blue shocks..

I think the last few years the XSP is the equivalent of the gulf states TSS package.
It's just a bunch of cosmetic stuff.

Never said it didn't exist, said it wasn't as popular. Seems every single damn truck the last ~10 ish years has some sort of package or other and has bed stickers. And the ones that don't, folks even put their own on.
