Ok you have a 2022 CM 5.5 foot bed which doesn’t automatically come with the large tank. Did you get both OR and convenience package added to it?

Thank you for your responses. I just realized that the packages are drastically different from the SR5 DC and the CM. That’s crazy, the CM has many OR packages that include the 32 gal tank.

You get the Blistein shocks with TRD Sport.

Some dealers are ignorant or not willing to do this for some reason. I found one that knew exactly how to build it with TRD Sport and Convenience package, other dealerships wanted to argue about how they can’t find a single truck in a 5 state radius with those two packages.

Good point. The dealership was saying they couldn’t build it that way. A more accurate way to describe it would be to refer to allocation.

At the risk of sounding ignorant, what does” A more accurateway to describe it would be to refer to allocation.” mean specific to wanting the TRD off road package and adding the larger gas tank, as well. Again I presume one cannot add 2 separate packages on one truck.

I have 2 separate packages (TRD OR and Conv pack) on one truck. If you search dealer sites that post the monroney sticker, you'll see that it's very common. Maybe some of the confusion arises from the on-line config tool, which wouldn't let you do that. The config tool is, shall we say, a bit flawed in that respect.

That’s exactly where the confusion starts. If I can add those 2 packages then problem solved. I also learned what the monroney label is. Thank you for clarifying. Love this forum.

Has anyone tried to get a dealership quote for the 32 gallon tank install? The tank itself is about $900 plus components but not sure if dealerships are doing it?

Contacted my local dealer yesterday and got an insane quote for swapping out the smaller tank for the larger 32 gallon option. He said with parts and labor it should exceed $6K but I'm not confident he knew exactly what he was talking about. I'm going to wait for the LRA 46 gallon option to hopefully come up for the 3rd gen. I have high hopes for this happening given they had it for the 2nd gen and because the 3rd gen is now making its way to Australia.
