    Wait, what?!

Just don't go 88mph while you're hitting 88,888 or you might zap off into time.

@shifty` you gonna tell me what to do on floor mats? OEM carpet or trim the crappy all weathers my dad got or say f it entirely cause it's a beater? :) :) :)

Same boat as our Tundras except I can find carpeted new OEM for the rav4, hard to know how difficult that may be to find later on, but still, carpet for a beach car, not super awesome.

Separately, I've been having dreams of regearing the '05 since it's 2wd, just wondering how good my wrenching skills need to be to get the rear third out. I think Erik did his by himself. I'd have to stuff it up on jackstands and therefore it'd be stuck in the garage for the duration. I think I barely have enough space to do that without really pissing off my wife. Then I could add a locker and go 4.88, but the net gain won't be tremendous, it'll still be a 4 cylinder. Hrmmm...

I think you should always use some floor covering. Pulling the carpet f'ing sucks, better something than nothing. You can replace floor mats in 5 minutes, you can't easily get carpet clean, it takes 5 hours to do right.

I had bookmarked some damn W-Tech mats on fleaBay recently that were going for $60, new in open box. Something like that is worth it. Sometimes you can find deals, I got sick of waiting and pulled the trigger, not knowing what to expect.

Now I'm just pissed W-Tech doesn't make a rear liner for AC trucks, at least not that I could find, in black. Bummer.

I've got some OEM mats, I've posted links before, brand new take-offs. They're not the dark charcoal (if not black) mats my truck came with. More of a medium gray with a hint of greenish hue. I'm saving 'em for a rainy day. One of these days someone desperate will gimme the $250 I want for 'em.

Yeah, she had a newer eco-boost model. Like a 2015 or something.
