It's 75F in my work apartment. It's 38F outside. My roomate and I just opened all the windows and the patio door to cool the place down.

I have no clue where I want to move to. I do have these requirements.....
No snow
No hurricanes
No tornadoes
Bonus...... having a porch looking at water.

 

We rarely get snow. Hurricanes shouldn't be a worry. Tornadoes are rare. But we do tend to get ice that jacks things up for about a week a year. And more and more idiots are moving here and ruining the state.... I'd say to go to a more northern less populated state to enjoy life, but then you would likely have to endure snow.

 

You didn’t mention floods (and that covers the porch looking at water for at least part of the year) so Central Texas might work out for you.

 

Hawaii might work. There's the whole tsunami thing and a little volcano issue now and then, but other than that it'd probably be ok.

 

He's American. He doesn't need to deal with the exchange rate or inflated prices like we do.

 

True enough. Had to sit through a timeshare presentation last time we were there and they were shocked at the cost of our flights.
