I got crazy lucky actually. Walked into a dealer near me the beginning of December and told them what I wanted with no deviation on color and they worked out a dealer allocation swap for me and had a 12/12 build date. It got tangled up in the 12/22 Qc hold and was a month late, but that’s okay. Where are you located?

That’s awesome. I’m in the Seattle area, but moving to Houston in a few months.

What do you say to the dealers when you want them to “place an order”? I know there aren’t true orders, but all the dealers Ive talked to avoid doing anything for me, even when I offer to put down a deposit. I did find one dealer who would help but they wanted to charge mark ups.

I would definitely say go join the No Markup Toyota Facebook group and even post in there what you are looking for. There’s a broker in there right now out of Philly who will ship anything and is under msrp.

I went into my dealer to only drive the two engines. Then one thing led to another on me talking about what I want. They called a few days later and said they could lock it up for me for a $1k deposit. I know they ship vehicles so if you are interested, it’s DJ at Thomasville Toyota (south Georgia)who I worked with. The guy who finds cars there is a wizard

Awesome thank you. My one problem with going that far away is I do have a Tacoma (2018) to trade in. I could sell it, but cannot go without a truck for any period of time. Anyway, that's more than you need to know. Thanks for the tips! Love this color and am pretty set on it.

Found this yesterday on the lot and traded my 23 platinum in for it. Got msrp on the platinum hybrid and paid msrp on the 23 1794 hybrid TRD.

Took a spin through our ORV park. Aired down to 25 on all 4 and she took it like a champ. This truck rips with the turbo and TRD lift. A lot of fun.

Really like the look of your Tundra - what size tires are you running? I couldn't quite read the size from the close up of the tire.

    Thanks!

The tires are 275 70 18. I like the size. Doesn’t hurt me too bad on MPGs and doesn’t look too small in the wheel well.

Was it super annoying to swap out? I'm considering this for mine as I really dislike the silver.

Edit: Nevermind just found the video on the page before this.

Will start with wheels and tires. Wife even dislikes the factory ones. Not sure if I'll do a westcott lift or not at the same time.

Then to black out all the chrome. Will add the trd camo touches at some point.

Those are the big ones for now. I'm excited to get better mileage with 35s in the tundra when my Tacoma with 34s got 14mpg on its best day.

Anyone know if you can take the grill of the TRD pro and swap it onto the Limited easily? Assuming I can buy the TRD pro grill. That and changing the stash to a body painted color will probably be my first mod.

    Simple? Yes. Easy? Meh.

It took me about 2.5 - 3 hrs. If you watch the how to videos, it is very straight forward but IMO it is a bit tedious. Worth the time though. The truck looks a lot better and there is no way I would pay someone to do it. The cost can be easily a few hundred just for install. Hope this helps.

Hello, everyone.. thought it was finally time to create an account and contribute to the AG thread! This is pretty much a copy and paste from my post in the FB group:

    - Radflo 2.5” front (Eibach springs) and rear with Resi + Adjustable shocks
    - OME 2723 rear springs
    - Total Chaos Fab UCAs
    - Yota Mafia extended brake lines
    - Stealth Custom Series F5, 18x9 +12
    - BFG KM3, 37x13.50r18
    - BMC, liner trimming to accommodate for wheels and tires
    - Go Rhino RB20 slim running boards
    - TRD PRO Heritage Grille
    - TRD Air Filters

I’m a big fan of wheel/tire poke so I’m completely satisfied with the stance. I hope this helps some of you who are on the fence about these Tundra specific F5s.

.. also, I absolutely love the different shades that this Army Green gives off in different lighting!

Really nice build! I asked in the other thread but I’m curious how your rubbing is with 37s and that offset

Thanks! I really don’t have much to compare it to coming from monotube Bilstein’s on my old 5th gen 4Runner, but so far, I love it. Being able to adjust on the fly is amazing.

When I win the lotto, the first thing I'm going to do is have my 07 CM painted AG. With matching topper of course.
