How the pros should come factory! The black headliner is one of the reasons I went with the 1794. How much did it run you to black out the interior

The black headliner in the 23 Plat is why I traded the 22 Limited in for it, among other nice features.

They're Method 316's in Gloss Titanium, size 17x8.5 | 6x5.5 | 0 offset. Had to get them re-balanced to get the wheel weights to clear the front brake calipers, but I love the look of the meatier tire on 17's.

Looks great! Should of came from the factory this way. How hard was it to switch out the headliner and upper plastics? Cost?

Contact AFE or the distributor/seller and ask for a refund! I bought a Flowmaster Outlaw (BIG mistake!) and it droned like hell. I called 4WP and they arranged a refund because the drone was unbearable. Be pushy, an exhaust is not a cheap purchase and it sucks when they don't disclose that it will drone. Flowmaster advertised the tone as being moderate to aggressive. Yeah right, I couldn't hear my radio at close to full volume or see anything out of my rear view mirror as it vibrated too much.

There’s a 20% restocking fee (I paid $750). It’s not terrible but it’s not great either. Drove 50 miles with it today and most of the drone occurs in stop/start driving (under 2K rpms). I may give it a try for a few more days.

I’m an idiot when it comes to this but what are you referring to when you say “drone” is it the sound mainly?

easy…definitely wear gloves (due to the sharp edges), it didn’t come with any instructions so I would read up on it on their website…I went a head and installed lock washers with the front bolts and one corner takes two different size bolts…

yeah I actually noticed that myself was surprised there was no instructions. But it doesn’t look too hard I guess.

It's not sound, its also the bass-like feel. The best way to describe it is to compare it to a strong subwoofer that's on max whenever you hit a certain RPM range. I can't tolerate it. Oddly enough, my parents can and have, although they both drew the line at a straight-piped Honda S2000. The drone was so bad you'd get out feeling dizzy. Point being, some people are fine with it but a lot aren't. It's made me very hesitant to modify car exhausts.

thanks for the explanation. I definitely would not be able to tolerate that, as I get older I am liking peace and quiet more and more, 3 teenage girls in the house has a way of doing that.

Rekgen mud flaps. Only two gripes... #1: They use a different size screw than factory, #2: you have to reuse one rear screw, but the screw is silver, not black. Both minor, but both annoying.

Overall, great fitment, better coverage than stock, no tire rubbing and installation instructions that are easy to follow.

I have the AFE Apollo exhaust. I will say there is drone (it's not that bad) at certain points 2k-2500 RPM but other than that I think you could do a lot worse out there. Freeway speeds in eco mode i can have phone hands-free conversations without any annoying drone.

V6's have an uphill battle already getting a good sound out of them but the AFE Apollo sounds lovely (to me). I will work on some videos to better showcase this setup/sound.

You’re right, it’s not bad and most of drone occurs around 2K rpm during stop/start city driving. But after installing it I can barely hear the turbos spool. I took it off for now and plan on installing trd air filters next week and see if I like the sounds better.

And I drive with the rear window down 90% of the time so I hear it a lot

I am not sponsored but the AFE charge pipes and intakes make the twin teriyaki turbines sound great and at cruising speeds you can hear them over the exhaust ;)
