    SGU is going to Sequoia and Kings Canyon! Anybody interested in rolling with us?

    Meeting in Bakersfield Thursday afternoon Aug 3rd. Drive home Sunday. Must bring firewood, full size spare tire and tools to change it, VHF comms, and backcountry camping gear as we'll be doing dispersed camping.

    If you're in post here and pm me your email address and phone number.

    Beer drinking and general shenanigans will be encouraged.

    Role Call:

    I have the following trucks confirmed so far:

    @osidepunker Alex
    @dragos28 Dragos
    @Spolar Zack

    Tentative:

    Route/Itinerary:

    I'm not going to rigidly plan this one. We're going to wing it. We've never been to the area so this will be an exploration trip.

    Trails we would like to explore:

    Buck Rock Jeep Trail
    Monache Meadows
    Sherman Pass

    Meal Planning:

    TBD

    I'd love to but this is a little far away for a quick decision for me to make. I'm trying to be in NORCAL towards the end of August for a couple days before heading to Oregon if anyone's gonna be around

    Baptize them in the name of the outdoors, wheeling, and not being afraid to scratch their trucks. Amen

    Dude! This was such an epic trip! The hike to Salmon Creek falls was spectacular! and Monache Meadows was beautiful. We'll be back for sure.
