Sorry guys, spent the last week getting things straightened out with the suspension on my truck. I left Dustin a voicemail, I'll try him again later this week. Thanks for the patience guys.

I haven't been ignoring you guys, just trying to figure out how I want to break this news to you all.

So not going to go political with this or get too deep into my own opinions on the current situation we're all in here. But, Dustin was able to figure out the logistics of manufacturing, so there is a way to get these made.

Unfortunately it wont be right now. There is no longer a definitive date for this or even a general timeline other than 2022.

The main issue right now is the cost of just about everything is increasing at an unusual rate. Some things are purely supply and demand, like lumber, others while similar are on a much larger and longer cycle taking longer to go from the source to the consumer. This has caused the backorders we all see on things like Kings and Fox suspension, as well as some back ordered wheel companies like Method and Icon both seeing shortages that extend months. The whole issue is far reaching though and in this case it applies primarily to the cost of shipping. I currently deal with this at my job as well as we get containers form China, Taiwan and Japan. In the last few months the cost has increased in what would seem like an impossible rate, but since some companies need this at any cost, it has been able to occur. It looks like a container to ship these overseas in our case has gone from a range of a few thousand to well into the 10s of thousands. For Dustin to support this cost and still maintain any income on the wheels it would likely increase the cost of the wheels by 40-50 per wheel. This is actually occurring with other companies as well, they just haven't stated it, recently the popular Icon Rebound has increased in cost from ~230ea to 304ea on Icons site.

Basically it would a risk financially right now. Dustin hopes it will change in the future and is still optimistic about getting these made early next year. I understand we all have timelines and different needs, but for those willing to wait they will be worth it. You will still have a price competitive wheel that will weigh less than just about any of the popular options currently available for our truck.

I'm sorry for the disappointing news, seems everything comes with its own challenge right now.

I will continue to update this as I talk with Dustin, just know there will be longer delays in updates for now. :hattip:

Bummer. Makes sense though. I was looking at Method 313's, but those have jumped up in price by a lot as well!

Thank you for all of the time and effort @Elduder

Bumping this thread. 2022 got here quick. Inventory on the website seems to be better than in the past. Not sure how cost of materials and transportation is still affecting his business.

I’ve been eyeing the FX Pros for a looong time and a group buy discount would push me over the edge.

Edit: just realized the FX Pros on the website are 6 bolt pattern.

I’m surprised you haven’t gotten a response given the feedback from others on the forums. I wouldn’t be surprised if FN is having inventory and cost issues, like so many other industries are experiencing.

I just spoke with Dustin last week.

He’s still working on the 5x150 17” options, there is progress there so don’t lose hope.

They have some 18s in stock, BFDs in black were available. I’m going to run those in the dark grey here in the next few months.

    I recommend calling after 4PM.

Hate to bump an old thread but was literally going to call Dustin and ask probability of some 17” and 18” wheels for our trucks tomorrow.

    This thread was some insight.

IF at all possible I’d be down to buy some more wheels from Dustin (I’ve bought several sets for Tacomas/4Runners) for the Tundra.

He’s stated they’re still in the pipeline. I spoke with him this last week. No eta yet though.

I dont frequent this forum anymore since I sold the Tundra, but Dustin posted this today. For anyone still holding out, looks like theres a Five Star on the way.

I wont be working on setting up a group buy anymore since I simply dont visit Tundras.com enough.

Looks pretty sweet, 24lbs with a +25 offset. Should be able to toss 35s on w/o chopping anything. Bead knurling that should help with bead retention at low pressures.

Stumbled on this thread while looking for some wheels for a 2016 sequoia. Would the six-shooters fit?
