I was the same way until I hit cheese puberty about 5-6 years ago. Just a late bloomer I guess. Now I cannot get enough. Mixed with from Franks wing sauce takes it next level!

I do like a vinaigrette occasionally, especially if I want to keep the meal lighter

Wife woke me up at 5. I'm off work today but we have a guy coming to do more work on the new floor and have to get the wife and kid out the door to give him room to work so I guess I'd better not laze in bed too much longer.

Oofff, our 5 month old woke us up at 4:30 to projectile vomit all over himself and the floor. I then decided it was the perfect time to book plane tickets to AZ for a little sun time lol.

Two calls, both broken exit signs in the same stairwell. Luckily I took the day off to take the boys to school

Daughter is sick and I’m a zombie (patience tank is empty), so took the day off. Going to tend to her then nap and research DYI bed-liners to apply to my steps when they arrive.

Here’s my thoughts on doing a liner…The steps will have powdercoat, but that stuff isn’t very chip resistant from what I’ve experienced. Since the steps will be getting hit with rocks and doors and other elements, it seems like protecting them with a more robust coating is prudent. Especially since they are heavy and a PITA to install. So I’m thinking a liner is a great way to add that additional protection and doing it before the install will be easy.

    Ideas or suggestions?

That’s exactly what my buddy did, had them powder coated and then sprayed raptor and sprayed heavy in suspect chip locations

Are they actually steps or did you get sliders? Ask @FrenchToasty how bed liner holds up on sliders…

From what I've seen bedliner isn't great on armor because although it's tough, once a spot gets damaged down to bare metal moisture creeps underneath and you end up with corrosion under the coating. Powdercoat is kind of like that as well. Seems just regular old spray paint is best. Easy to touch up and fairly durable, especially for the price.

January is too cold for us locals. February starts to get nice, though. March is great, but we get invaded by all the hoomans from cold states, so there's a trade off.

So tell me more. What brand? Self-applied or shop-sprayed? You hit a rock/tree or Sasquatch?

To @LarryDangerfield ’s point, I figure touch-up will be a fact of life. Guess if liners fail epically then maybe not the best solution. And they will be harder to repair. So does the more protection offset the more difficult repair? Pondering

I bought them like that, again it wouldn’t be my first choice for sliders. But if you get something like raptor liner, I assume that shouldn’t be to bad to match/touch up. I assume prep is key like in any painting situation
