Tundra Transfer Case or ?

    I'd agree with AZhub, that's a low price for that service, IF they used the Toyota 75W oil, which is $85/quart. And I recall you need two quarts for the T-case. Someone else mentioned the Ravenol 75w. I have it in my tundra. On Amazon for about $25/quart. It works, as I've had mine in it for a few years and use 4wd at least a few times a year.

    Also, is it in the manual that it should be put in 4 hi/low once a month for lubrication? I have not been doing this but will find a dirt road near me to start if that's the case.

    The manual is a bit ambiguous. It says run in 4wd once a month for about 10 miles, IIRC.

    10 miles in 4L will take a LONG time.

    no shit. typically when i've used 4lo, it's to get out of something...5-10 feet! i'd drive through a couple zip codes in 10 miles!!!
