Some days ago while installing USBs and the garage remote hack, I came across this connector behind the traction & rear window button to the right of the steering column. Could you help identify what this connector is?

I have the wiring diagram but it's for 2015, and my CrewMax is 2008.

I love how our trucks come pre-wired. So if I wanted to install an OEM feature later I can do so myself rather than paying tons of money to have the dealer do it.

    Anyhow, TIA.

That button to the left of the traction control is a blank in my truck as well, and mine is a Platinum so it has mostly everything. Is there a vent cut out below those buttons on yours? I have vent cut out and a button even lower on that panel that has a SET button which I think is associated with the TPMS. There is also a knee airbag under the steering wheel. Other than that...:notsure:

    Thanks for the input.

Yes, I have the TPMS reset button underneath the switch panel and right above the reset button are some slits which I want to say is where the Bluetooth mic resides. Could this switch be for that? Because I don't have Bluetooth in my CM.

I think my original bluetooth mic was in the ceiling, near the front map lights.

Is that the connector for the trailer brake controller?

[EDIT] No. The trailer brake controller connector is in the bottom left corner where your fuse box is. This connector is to the right of the steering column.

Oh, I thought mine was on the right, but I haven't used it in years.

Any chance you would know what connector this is? It's in the same general area.

The early crewmax had an option for rear entertainment system and that 115V outlet was part of that. The connector was for turning it on/off. There would be additional relay and a few other bits you would need to get it working, and I don’t recall what wattage it was rated for (not a lot).

Pretty sure that one is for the cabin air temperature “thermistor” that is part of the Auto-AC system. The little grill/slots you referred to above the TPMS reset button is where that thermistor mounts.
