Just installed this into my baby today. Love the big ass screen. Not entirely happy about the fit however… the bezel sticks out too much, need to play with it a bit more, maybe i can get it to fit better. But overall happy with it. I have it hooked up to a front camera so it is recording the idiots driving now a days.

You have the Link to this head Unit?
Also how are you liking it? Does it seem glitchy or does it run pretty good ?

I literally just posted a thread about a similar unit, and was wondering about fitment. Is this a 10 inch screen?

this unit vs the one in my Q5 runs better and is not glitchy at all. I love it but the fit def could be better. A great upgrade

Yes this is the 10”. The fitment around the sides and top were not great. It doesn’t ‘snap’ like i would like in place. Trying to decide what to do about it tho! Opinions appreciated

    For front cam:
    - did you mount on rear view mirror looking forward or on grill?
    - can you turn on cam to see forward when parking?
    - I assume the unit has capability to record like dash cam since you mentioned that

    Thanks!

Not bad. However, the T9 for me shows $297. The $80 one is a lower end model I believe

The one I was looking at has a swivel extended mount, but looking at yours it looks like the screen fits well without covering vents, ac controls, etc. Here is a link to the one I'm leaning toward just for reference....not sold on it quite yet though

so my front cam is hooked up to my headunit via usb and controlled by the headunit. It is right behind my rear view mirror. See attached. It also has a SD card so it records continuously. My backup cam is on my rear view mirror.

u can see the gap. I don’t like it. Thinking of using some kind of gap filler or something.

I think it’s cool. But i just never liked any kind of swivel sticking out.

Yes i paid about $300. i mean a good headunit is at least $300 normally. This is much better than a $300 headunit from kenwood or something

This looks like the Dasaita radio I have. They all use the same hardware, but offer different operating systems.

there is a huge thread on the Dasaita radio. I’ve been thinking about trying out their 13.3” radio, but I also liked the OEM fitment of this 10.2”.

mine also has a slight gap in the same area as yours, although not quite as much. But heck, I can’t see it from my drivers seat.

Was going to add the Kenwood 1057 but held off because I was thinking of trading the tundra in. Well back to adding a aftermarket headunit. But decided I’am up in the air on which one. I like having a CDplayer I know old school. So it’s having that or getting the bigger screen. Anyone in this position?

I couldn’t tell you where my massive CD case is anymore. I have Apple Music so anything I want is basically there.

I agree with the Apple Music. I have all that and my XM. I have some old CD’s that are import and there is some music you cannot download on Apple Music.

    Alot of them
Convert them to mp3. The last head unit that I upgraded to had CD/DVD, and I only used it once. Since everything is digital these days, I'm loving the Pioneer 9 inch and Roku.
