    Need help please.
Working on an 05 tundra 4.7. I have replaced the air pump, the check valve, the air driver module, and the air pump fuse. I’ve checked all the wiring and connections. Is there a possible problem in the ecm?
    Tia.

Can't offer much more than questions....What caused you to change pump, same initial code ?
Are you in cold climate ?

Truck went into limp mode, scanned it, and it had multiple air injection codes. Removed intake and the pump was locked up. Changed pump and check valve.
Ram good for about a 100 miles, and then into limp mode again.
Scanned again and found p2445 and po418. Replaced air driver module and air driver fuse. Truck again ran fine for about another 100 miles. Then limp mode again.
    Scanned and p2445 is back.

yes I am in a cold climate.

Did you read the Hewitt article I linked to ?
Perhaps it is a coincidence but their speaking of your exact issue.

Hmmm....could have swore you had P0418 also in thread title when you initially posted which others might have been helped by !

Thanks for your help. Going to put the truck back together today and give it back to the customer, and explain that when it happens again I’ll have to do the Hewitt bypass.
    Thank you for your help.

Or you could advise them to check on the proper fix, which would be contacting a dealership and asking if they can re-flash the ECU.

I called a local dealership, and they told me there’s not a reflash. They told me bring the truck in, so they could look at it.
You know what that means $$$$$$

Yup, they don't call it a stealership for nothing...

Another option that's not horribly expensive, if you have the p/n off the ECU, you could look into swapping it out.

They sell reflashed ECU, although I'm shocked the dealership won't do it. It's not like they don't have the ROMs or whatever they can burn into the ECU. Surely they can get them.
