Funny this thread popped up just now. Sitting in the parking lot while my wife gets a colonoscopy completed and got me thinking I should get checked. One of those "if I ain't broke I ain't visiting the doctor" guys. Should probably find a primary care doctor first.

Occasional DR visits = changing the fluids in your Tundra! Some maintenance and inspections are required..and none are fun.

I see my oncologist this coming Tuesday for my 3 month checkup. Last fall during my annual physical it was determined that I've developed A-fib. Finally saw my cardiologist last week and he confirmed the A-fib. Today I'm getting a cardiovision/TEE procedure done. Basically going verify whether I have any clots near the valves then zap my heart to bring the valves back into sync. Fun times!!!

Good luck with your test procedures and if needed repairs. My wife had PVC diagnostic a couple years ago. She did the heart ablation operation. It required a second visit and she was confirmed to be PVC free after her month checkup. After 3 months she got Covid and it affected her heart. The cardiologist said it was Covid, she was having some Afib issues. Scary situation for sure. It’s been a couple months now and the Afib and elevated heart rate has gone away. Note: her Apple Watch was giving her notifications of her Afib. Those watches are worth their money imo.
I have PVC but at a low rate. Actually common for a lot of people. If more than 5% of time then worry. I’ve not had issues with Afib(yet).

Thanks! What's weird is my blood pressure is good for my age. Was 128-70 last Thursday when checked. I did take the Covid vac regimen. Hmmmm.........

I got lucky, in a sense. It doesn't run in my family; and PSA was good, so both my wife (a nurse) and my doctor said I can just go the Cologuard route. (Aka "poop-in-da-box")

Yes, my wife has had perfect blood pressure also. And she and I have had the 2 regular and 3 booster jabs. Genetics has a lot to do with it. Her dad passed at 57. We’re in our 70s now. (Note: my BP has been good also. She make me eat healthy).

At UCHealth for my 3 month followup with my oncologist. Bloodwork first then over to the doc. I'll be filling him in about the three heart surgerys I've had. Won't he be surprised. Ha!

Bloodwork panel results are excellent overall. PSA only 0.02. Barely measurable which is what we want. Lupron butt shot next. Fun times here.:smokertransformer:

Colon cancer as well at 52. Stage 1 and my colon was a wreck so they advised to remove it last August. Thought I was good to go!

NOW Stage III esophagus cancer!! So ALWAYS get you upper GI checked out when you do your lower! If they don’t ask you need to tell them! Do BOTH!

@BlackWolf, Good to get cleared for another time period.

I did my 10 year colonoscopy a month ago, had 3 polyps, two at 2 mm height but axially long, and one at 5 mm. They removed them. Good news was also they said to come back in 7 years. I will be 79 then, and I think that is the last time they will do the test. One note on drinking the fluid: mix it the day before and put it in the fridge, having it cold helped a lot.
